We have two possible outcomes for the future of the ability enhancing drugs

They will come out as toxic and/or life threatening or they can help the future of science and the metabolism development greatly.

Which in your opinion is most likely?

Feel free to share your honest opinion.

Lets talk about the fact that these drugs can be labelled as potentially deadly, we really don't know if these drugs are good for the body or not. Lets also not forget to mention the fact that these drugs are banned in the olympics, which means that there is a negative aspect of consuming the drugs because the 1 out of 10 people that take the drug are not being fair to the 9 out of 10 that didn't take the drug. Out of the people that took the drug could be the genuine winner (In the case that the drug consumer wasn't actually supposed to win had they not taken the drug.).When an athlete takes the drug they destroy the whole spirit of clean winnning and the main purpose of the competetion and because the Enhanced Games allows the consumption of the drugs there will probably be at least one person who won't take the drug and that wouldn't be fair to them (some may disagree at this point because it is only 1 part of a statistic).

Lets keep in mind that we don't know the full result of the drugs, so it could hav a good impact on the world.

Scientists are alway looking for new thing to test and develop, they would probably test the drugs on people that have no athletic abilities what so ever and test the drugs on higher performing athletes to see the difference in ability. Then they would test to see if the drugs improve non-athletic activities as well, if not maybe they will try to develop the drugs to do so. If the drugs end up being toxic to human beings the scientists would normally use animals to develop safer versions of the drugs.

  • I agree that we don't know the long term effects of enhancement drugs, so implementing them could lead to harm for the athletes involved. However, I do not think that animals should be tested for these potential life-changing/scientifical breakthrough drugs as it can be considered unethical and as animal cruelty. Possibly instead, drugs could be tested on certain consenting athletes who are willing to take the drugs and record their physical progress. Although, the althletes who are talking the drugs should not qualify for the olympics since it is currently banned in the olympics as it would provide an unfair advantage.

    1. I actually think that scientists will use animals or human volunteers to test the drugs on. After they will need a way to find the result of the drug intake, but I don't think the innocent animals signed themselves up to be tested on and if the result is bad the animal or human volunteer would end up with health problems or die.

      1. Yes, i agree that animals shouldn't be used as test subjects. Simple testes can be carried out on the effect of PES's on blood samples which can help tell us how the drugs will function in our body. Careful experiments should be carried out if at all PED's should be introduced to the world officially. This is so that we can prevent any future health challenges or even pandemics from arising. There is no doubt that the future is very bright with the development of phenomenal technology but that future can be destroyed of what we are developing does not help but harms us.

    2. I agree because... Using animals to test drugs that have not been tested is a form of animal abuse and is not ethical. However, using these drugs on athletes who have willingly volunteered to be tested is not a problem, as it is their own personal choice. Nonetheless, they should be disqualified from participating in the Olympics due to the presence of performance-enhancing substances in their body, which can provide an unfair advantage over the other participants. Thanks for sharing your insights. 😁

    3. Yes,I agree with you. These drugs should definitely not be tested on animals that do not even know what is happening or going to happen. If these drugs that the scientists are not sure of is being tested on the animals the possible effects could be death and this would really be a factor that reduces the amount of animals in the world because the animals are being taken from places for the testing. There will also not be any real physical contact like seeing the animals face to face for educational purposes for children or other people who don't know much or have never seen the animals.
Well, those athletes who are willing to be tested on can be tested on but like you have said , they should not go back to join the game as it will be seen as cheating .

  • Based on a quick search on the internet I found out some info about performance-enhancing drugs P.E.D.s For short and their effects, I found out that they can impact the individual's health in the long run which may cause irreversible damage and prove to be lethal. But P.E.D.s can be researched on other living organisms to see if they can positively affect life and improve the organism's abilities and later be developed into safer options or even medications, So in conclusion I would say that P.E.D.s can prove to be beneficial in the future with further research and experiments to produce and consume safely for the average person.

    1. I appreciate you sharing your views and opinions, but have you thought about the process of maker the drugs safer. There is usually a test subject and if there is something wrong with the drug change, it can be the beginning of a whole lot of health problems or may result in death

  • In some research conducted, performance enhancement drug is found to enhance metabolism, in some ways it increases energy expenditure, improve muscle growth and enhance endurance, which indirectly impact metabolism. We all know that performance enhancement drugs have toxic and life threatening effects on the body. They can cause serious health complications. And put athletes life at risk, for example: liver damage and hormonal imbalances caused by anabolic steroids. Encouraging sustainable methods of metabolism, such as proper nutrition and regular exercise is a safer way to improve metabolism which also promotes fair competition.

  • I agree that the drugs might be harmful for the body and some people can die but I trust the scientists we have today, opportunity comes but once we should seize this opportunity now that our scientists are serious to make things this will lead to an opening not only in the enhanced games but in different aspects because they will want to explore, create and solve problems anxiously. We should test the drugs on animals and if it gives a good answer we can test it on a human who willingly wants it to be tested on them,I not saying that is when something comes up that our scientists should work the should always try to explore everyday to find new things.

  • i think that the enhancement of drugs is not fair to other people who do not take drugs in sports because taking drugs that helps someone win a race is cheating and they will not know what effects the drug might have on them, also they will become addicted to other drugs and all sorts of life threatining things

  • In my opinion, we won't know the long term effects of performance enhancing drugs in the future. Some will have life threatening effects, some will have short term effects. Scientists will surely test these drugs on animals but that will be inhumane for these scientists since they won't know the effects of the drug. The drug will most likely be harmful to the animal since some animals won't be able to adapt to the effects of the drug. If scientists were to get a human volunteer, this will still be threatening to humans since, again, people won't know about the effects of the drugs. If an athlete were to use the drug without knowing the side effects. Overall, the drugs would be still banned in the Olympics since it still enhances peoples performance.

  • Hello
As we all different types of games in our television or in our mobile we also see that some players who are winning and losing but in these games like athletics only. We have seen many player in news that they are cheating in games by having drugs in their body and then there medals have been taken and police caught him/her. They do these things because they have to win the race because it make thm more faster and it is mostly done by the people in athletics but now in these days doctors are been kept in Olympics for blood test as before match as they check whether they have taken drugs in their body or not. If they have taken drugs they are rejected from the game and they have not so they are allowed in the game. As they become so strict about in these things
    Thankyou

  • Yes, I do agree on how we don't know how badly the enhanced drugs that are being used in the Enhanced Games could affect humans in those games because there are many different side effects in those drugs that could be bad for the human body. On the other hand, I think that the enhancement of drugs used in the Enhanced Games could help scientists develop safer drugs in the future.

If people keep doing the Enhanced Games then that can leave a hint to the scientists on how the enhanced drugs are helping the human body. Doing the Enhanced Games tests how far the human body can go when using stamina, and shows what humans are capable of while using Enhanced Drugs. Scientists can help make healthier and safer drugs for future Enhanced Games and can lower the risk on what may happen to a human while using Enhanced Drugs.

I think that the scientists will get entell from different people at the Enhanced Games on how the people are doing. I think that scientists may use an athlete that has used enhanced drugs before or even an Olympian that is willing to agree to test a developed enhancement drug that the scientist made. That is my opinion on the Enhancement Drugs In The Enhanced Games.

    1. That is great, thanks for sharing your views, but have you thought about how the drugs are bad for people before the scientists makes a safer version of it?

  • Hi credible_acorn, adding drugs to games can make them more realistic, especially in urban settings or when exploring themes like addiction. This can make the game more immersive for players. However, there's a risk that it could make drug use seem cool or normal, especially for younger players. Games that show drugs in a positive way without talking about the dangers could encourage bad behavior.

In summary, including drugs in games has both good and bad sides. It can make games more interesting and educational, but developers need to be careful about how they show drugs in games. They should focus on promoting player well-being and social awareness while still being creative. This way, games can use drugs in a meaningful and impactful way.
    Thank you!

  • I know that in the future ,if doping continues, then the future for games could be extremely unequal and unfair. This is bad as it could result in arguments about whether the enhanced games should be aloud and whether drugs should be aloud in any games and that could cause chaos. Also, it would would be bad as athletes at the enhanced games would be faster or stronger and that could cause unfairness amongst the athletes that didn’t use drugs and could cause arguments against whether drugs should be aloud or not.
