Eco-anxiety

Young people worldwide say they feel worried about climate change. The 2021 census reports that 75% of adults in Brittan are worried about the impact of climate change. I think eco-anxiety is bad but my friend thinks it is good and bad but I do not agree I think it is bad because sea levels are rising my friend thinks it is good because then people realize about the world.

Surprisingly over the last ten years, global warming has been increasing rapidly which is causing devastation across the planet such as loosing homes, sea level rising and droughts. Severe weather caused by global warming means people are dying and animals are perishing and some even going extinct. Worryingly, these affects are all caused by humanity. Eco-anxiety is when people become so

Scared, ashamed and helpless some people especially children are beginning to worry about the future. This has resulted in 45% of young people worrying about sea-level change and 62% of UK people now worry that rising temperatures will directly affect them by 2030. Increasing levels of eco-anxiety the chronic of environmental doom were likely to be underestimated and damaging to many in the long term, public health experts said.

Some people believe that Eco-anxiety is bad and some people think it is good in my opinion it matters what it is about. Because people have anxiety so they are so scared what is happing two thirds of America say they rarely or never discus the climate crisis with family and friends according to survey by Yale university in addition people believe that people cannot have eco-anxiety.84% of and he think it is bad because then people are ill. However some people think that it is bad and some people agree with me and some people agree with my friend Toby. A temperature rise of another 9- tenths of a degree Celsius from now, and the amount of land burned by wildfires will increase by 35% globally.

In my opinion the solution is to be safe and don’t take risks and that you should always keep the planet safe. I think eco-anxiety should not stay and Toby thinks it should stay I think you should stay home and be safe and in some counties water is evaporating and extreme weather is hitting the planet. The 10 warmest years on record have occurred since 2005.Between 2010 and 2020 people were 15 times more likely.

  • Personally, eco-anxiety has affected me in a positive way. It has inspired me to take action rather than feeling worried. It has motivated me to find ways in which I can contribute towards protecting the planet. Also lately the temperature of my country has been rising as a result of global warming. This makes me anxious and fearful but the following year will bring even more increased temperatures but I have learned that instead of letting this fear get the better of me, I can channel it into taking actions that can help protect us from the climate crisis.
