Hello Topical Talkers

My username is sincere_apple, and as AI keeps getting better and improving at an astounding rate, and is being implemented in our everyday lives, the fear of it will keep growing, but AI can be beneficial to us in many ways. It can complete tasks for us that are often viewed as inconvenient, time consuming, and they can even be your own personal assistant that you can talk to.

Additionally, AI can be used to reduce the amount of human errors and can be unbiased when writing a topic/news article compared to a normal human. AI only relies on data-driven insights, which can help businesses improve their decision making, and minimize the risk coming from human judgment.

However, AI can also be used for bad things. For example, scammers can use AI technology to impersonate a certain person and trick people into sending them money, or even make them do a certain task for them. Students can use AI like ChatGPT to write an essay for them, and not do any work themselves. There’s also a large amount of people that use AI to research information for work, schools, and etc. But AI can have something called an “artificial hallucination”, which is a wrong or misleading result generated by AI that is essentially “plucked from thin air”. Which means to just say something at random, and not have any factual evidence to base it on. These errors are due to many things like incorrect assumptions made by the AI model, insufficient amount of training data, and biases in the information that are used to train the model.

In conclusion, AI in the future can be very exciting and promising, but that’s only if we manage AI technology correctly and not use it for bad.
