AI AND TECHNOLOGY- IT'S EFFECTS

To begin with, AI Doesn't only have negative effects but positive effects too. It is supposed to be used for necessary things but we misuse it making it seem like a disadvantage of it been created. I would start by talking about the positive effects.
Education improvements
AI really helps us with our education. You can get information not only in schools and in libraries but on the internet. The video and audio graphic students can decide to learn using videos and audios. Currently It seems like we can't learn without AI. On the internet, we need confirmations etc. Sometimes I hear adults talk about how they suffered without internet and I realised that we are extremely fortunate. At that time their only sources were humans and books.
Communication
With technology we find communication extremely common and normal. We are able to communicate on whatsap, Phone etc. At any time of the day we can decide to text or call someone to spread information. But It wasn't always like that. People had to go to different houses to share information. But we have the priviledge to sit in the comfort zones of our homes and chat.
News
With AI we have social media platforms where we get updated on the latest news. Unlike before where news papers were needed, We can go on our favourite news pages or social media platforms to read and get current breaking news. Eg Tiktok.
Now I would move on to the negative effects.
Eye problems
This has become a very huge problem. It's surprising to see the youngest of children with glasses on. We are getting addicted to devices. We basically spend our whole day on devices. We get our phones or tablets to watch videos. Then when it gets seized we move on to the laptops then to the television. And even to learn we need devices. The light that comes out of the devices could ruin our eyesight and when we end up with glasses we think it's genetic or by default. It funny how some older people can see better than we do.
Bad habits.
When we little children are exposed to the internet, We learn useless, unecessary and bad things. Now little children have the audacity to insult their mothers and we all wonder where they heard it from. Even when it's an act it becomes a part of us.
Homework
It's not surprising when teachers think we did not complete works or projects on our own. We use AI for easiest questions because we think we must use it since it's there. It's making us lazy, reliant and procrastinators. Any little project we get straight to AI generator. We think it's going to have no effects on us but we confirm that in the exam room.
In conclusion If AI is used wisely we will clearly see the positive impacts. Let's try to be less reliant on AI because you never know something could go wrong and won't have access to AI. And we won't be able to create great things and become independent. We harm noone but ourselves when we misuse it.
