One of the most beautiful festivals that I participated in on this site is strikes. I think it is the appropriate topic for some people, from which I gained a lot of information about strikes.  A strike is the cessation of work, or any organized disruption of the continuous workflow. After we discussed this topic, I knew precisely what people meant and what the impact and disadvantages of the strike are. There are many people who must strike, and we will talk about them in detail.
First, principals and teachers
When UNRWA announces that there is a strike, we can say that they are eagerly awaiting strikes to take away all the rights that were taken away from them. This is really disturbing.
Some students believe that the day of the strike is a break from school to play and have fun, but they do not know what the value of this strike is. This strike is not beneficial to us, especially the students. If the strike is canceled, we must be happy, because this is all for our sake and for our interests.
As for patients and doctors, they threatened the health system not to strike doctors a lot, but this thing still has a great impact (it is possible that there are many patients and there is a strike here, the shock because the patient may be in his worst condition, which causes the patient to lose something and these negatives on the one hand  my mental thinking)
Also, the Council of Ministers or any party affected by the strike may resort to the Supreme Court of Justice to stop the strike in the event that the strike violates the provisions of this decree by law, or causes serious harm to the public interest.
Especially since the strike is political par excellence, and the politicization of demand strikes must be avoided.

  • Here are some ways we can prevent and reduce strikes in the community.
1.Bridge the worker-management divide. This will make the workers feel they have a say in the management decision which will reduce resentment.
2.Practice empathy towards the workers which will make the workers feel the management care as such disputes among workers.
3.Allow for worker autonomy which will make the workers feel they are in control of their day to day job. So we should all try and listen to all workers opinion.

    1. Thank you for sharing those valuable suggestions on how to prevent and reduce strikes in the community. I agree that fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment is essential in minimizing the likelihood of labor disputes. Your proposed actions align with promoting effective communication, empathy, and worker empowerment. Let's explore each point further:

Bridge the worker-management divide: Creating channels for open communication and involving workers in decision-making processes can help address grievances and reduce feelings of resentment. By promoting transparency and accountability, management can foster a sense of inclusion and cooperation, which can help prevent conflicts from escalating to the point of strikes.

Practice empathy towards workers: Recognizing and understanding the needs and concerns of workers is crucial for building trust and a positive working relationship. By actively listening to workers, addressing their issues, and showing empathy, management can demonstrate that they genuinely care about their well-being. This can help prevent tensions and conflicts from arising in the first place.

Allow for worker autonomy: Granting workers a certain level of autonomy and control over their work can enhance job satisfaction and reduce the likelihood of strikes. When workers feel empowered to make decisions and have a sense of ownership over their tasks, they are more likely to be motivated and engaged in their work. This autonomy can help create a sense of mutual respect between workers and management, fostering a positive work environment.

By implementing these measures, organizations can promote a culture of collaboration, understanding, and empowerment. It is important to recognize that preventing strikes requires ongoing effort and a commitment to creating a harmonious workplace where the concerns and rights of all individuals are respected.

Thank you for sharing these insightful suggestions.

    2. Great information, correct and accurate. Well done 👏👏
Sympathy is a beautiful and wonderful thing, and we must practice these laws, or perhaps all owners of the company should sympathize with the workers, and this, of course, will make the worker satisfied and he will not be willing to strike, as for this point. Allowing worker autonomy that will make workers feel they are in control of their daily work. So we should all try to listen to the opinions of all workers. In my opinion, this is good, but only a few people apply it, and something is certain and certain that if employees and owners of companies implement it, society will be wonderful, especially in Gaza. Thank you for your opinion and participation 💘

  • Thanks alot. You have a very educating standpoint. One major strike solution that is taking potent and visible effect in my country Nigeria, is the ability for the citizens who value and know the worth of public profession workers in my country, to be able to protest for the workers voices to be heard and for their terms and conditions to be met. Citizens that care for their workers and know what it means for them to have to put up with the unresponsive and ignorant nature of their employers, also having in mind the disastrous and destructive effects strikes will have on them and also on the countries economy will fight for their rights and also for their requests to be met. For example, after ASUU had performed all th legal steps before they eventually went on strike in my country, the citizens acted upon their sympathy for the workers and served as a driving force and also a pressure group that pressurized the government through their protests to surcom to their requests.

    1. Wonderful, thank you for your accurate answer. I agree with your frank and accurate statements. The solutions to this problem in my country are also the same in Gaza and Nigeria. In my country, there are many strict laws, but the problem is that these laws are not applied, so Gaza becomes somewhat developed compared to other countries, and the solutions are strict and impossible for most countries.... Let's start by responding to each solution. The first is the solution that everyone applied, it will have an impact Strong and mighty over the country, of course, if the employees of the company or those in charge of that company are sympathetic and kind to the workers. Of course, the workers will be less in need and his request for a strike because his right is with him, and of course one of the types of sympathy towards the workers is to fulfill everything we promised them, for example I went To search for a job and I found it at the beginning, the official will know who I am? And he will tell me from the beginning how much financial income is if I accept, so I will continue and work hard and hard, but if I don't like it and I can't provide for my family and my home, then I apologize and go to look for another job. And as you said, every person is responsible for his workers, and they should be under their care.
