In future, I think the way people will get their news will be through different sources. Sources like social media apps, podcasts, physical newspapers, and more. It might happen that people wouldn't receive news through physical newspaper, because of two major reasons. First, there is a requirement of not using natural resources in a large manner, in future, we need to preserve our nature for multiple things. Second, when people have internet and various apps for news, why would they depend on physical newspapers?

I think there will be different sources for news, some which would be really new to us, because news play an impactful role in many of our lives. I can't say about the world, but definitely, in India, according to my observations, day starts with tea and newspaper! People love reading, listening and watching news. Thereupon, I would say that news would continue to be a part of our lives, and I feel it should be because it is really significant, it lets us know what is actually going in our surroundings, what we can do and what are the requirements, so that we can either act upon any issue, or be careful from threats.

Lastly, people can make sure the news they consume in future is reliable, by checking on various sources. As mentioned above, in my perspective news would always be there, and it sources would increase, we can check the news through different sources to look whether it is appropriate and reliable.

Within the future, I think the way individuals will get their news will be a combination of different sources. With the rise of innovation and social media, individuals have get to to a wide extend of news outlets and stages. Whereas conventional news sources will still be significant, modern innovations might rise to convey news in more personalized and intuitively ways.

To guarantee the reliability of news within the future, individuals can take a few steps. To begin with, it's vital to confirm data from numerous sources and cross-reference truths. Moment, people can take after trustworthy news organizations and writers who prioritize precision and objectivity. Third, basic considering abilities will proceed to be vital in assessing the validity of news articles and sources. In conclusion, progressions in AI and machine learning can play a part in fact-checking and distinguishing deception.

By remaining educated and being proactive in looking for dependable sources, individuals can explore the advancing media scene and make educated choices approximately the news they expend. 📰✨

  • Along with technology breaks over the years, people’s preferences on how they like to get the news have changed, too. In future, I personally believe that people will no longer have time to find a way to get the news, but the news, involuntarily, will reach them. Screens on the streets, or rather cell phones will be the perfect way to deliver news. People in the future won’t have to look at their phones, there will be a contact lens attached to theirs, and the news will pop in front of their eyes every minute holding the newest world updates. However, there are always those of the old school, me included, who would rather use a newspaper to read; but I’m not sure we’ll still have one in the future. No matter how people consume the news, it won’t be 100 percent true, because people tend to exaggerate everything they know. So, don’t rely on any.

  • In the future, even the near one, I'm thinking that newspapers will disappear. Well atleast the palpable ones, that our grandparents used to read, because now, even my grandfather stopped picking up his newspaper every Friday morning and instead just reads the latest news off of his phone.
Because of this matter, I thought of the most logical thing that came into my mind: physical newspapers will become history in the next half a century and that's because you can find anything that's in that newspaper on the internet and also because most newspaper news are faked just to stir some drama around.
I'm thinking that the extinction of physical newspapers will be a good idea for a better future where people will make the difference between true and fake quicker and also, there's a chance to make this happen! For example: I'm from Romania and although I didn't catch the communist era, my grandmother told me that there was only one news chanel at a certain hour of the day and only one news paper, but now, we can not only check one or more sources to make sure what we're reading is accurate, we have millions!
So, in conclusion, we should take this digital path in the news department for a better and more diverse future!

    1. I strongly agree with your comment as people barely even use newspapers now. I believe that technology will advance by a lot in a few years as Ai has already been growing.

    2. In the future think the way that people may get their news through the media which will take another big step to ensure that they stay in business. I think in the future there will be flying robots which could fly around telling the latest news that's happening around the world. I also think there will also be some huge, incredible screens which will be showing the the actions that is taking place thanks to some security cameras that are planted around the world just like I see on television.

  • well in my imagination and opinion that we will have a segment inside us that connects to several other segments, and between those segments, news and information will be transmitted without any efforts from us to know that and I think that it surely won't be from one source.
Also i think that many new technology that we don't know now will exist in the future, and from predicted options that old_fashioned ways would be existed, but for poor people who won't be able to buy a segment in future.
And that what exactly inventors working at those days and that would be so dangerous for people health but who knows what will happen.

  • I think that the news will probably be shared online and the physical form of news will disappear, because less and less people are reading the news, the "old fashioned way". Personally, I do not have the time, nor the patience to purchase a newspaper every single day. I would much rather read the news online. It can also save me some money. Back in the communist times, there existed only one newspaper and only one news program on TV. It was very easy for news to be faked. In my opinion, the more sources, the better. Nowadays, people are worried about family members spending too much time online, especially during meals, which were supposed to be spent discussing with the family members. However, this is not a problem that appeared recently. I have learned from an article that before technology existed, family members used to read the newspaper in the middle of dining or eating breakfast. So, I think that people will easily get used to reading online, rather than the physical form. In fact I find it to be more addictive like this. For example, after a long negotiation, my grandma allowed my mother to buy her a new mobile phone. Although at first she seemed to dislike it, now she reads the news of it. Afterwards, she is really excited to share what she has learned with friends and other family members.

    1. “In future, I think the way people will get their news will be both physical and technology based because i do agree not many people get their news from "newspapers" and other sources on news because many people cant afford to keep paying for the news papers but there are also people who don't have access to the media or any form of information that is technologicalized most people don't have access to the internet or any device for that matter so i think both old and new ways of news will become the two major ways of getting news just like how news was broadcasted on the (TV) it has been worked on and developed and people get their news from the (TV) in conclusion i think if both old and new ways of getting news is combined then people will be able to get their news effeciently

  • Hi everyone! I would like to tell you all how i think people will get their news in the future. Well, since AI has been growing a lot, i think there will be AI chats that tell you all the news you would want to know. Also, Augmented reality has started to get more famous and well known like the Apple vision pro and the meta quest 3, so i think people will be using these kinds of glasses in their daily life and they will get all their news from that. I also think that maybe in the future, there might be really intelligent robots that can have chats with you and hang out and also tell you the news.
I also see that the ways people get the news nowadays are really different than the old days. Nowadays people get their news straight from TV , their phones , tablets , smartwatches or even AR glasses. Back then, people had to purchase physical newspapers every day if they wanted to know the news or wait for some people to tell others of the news so they could also know it. So, we can conclude that we have improved a lot since back then and everything is different and easier now. Thank you all for reading this and bye!

  • in my opinion to know what's new in the future, we can stay updated by following trends, reading news from reliable sources, and listening to experts' insights. Embracing innovation and being open to change can also help us anticipate and adapt to what's coming.
    and there is many ways:
firstly, we can it in by notification in the smart watches.
secondly, we can know it by Apple VR headset (Apple vision pro)
Finely, it might be in the mobiles as now

  • I think in the future, as the world evolves, technology will improve and you may start seeing news everywhere around you. We have vision glasses now, so whenever you need to know about News, you can access the news in a few clicks. You would not need to turn on your television, or have to search it up on your phone. You may get automatic notifications when you need to know about the news. But we do not know for sure what technology may come in the near future. Some people may prefer turning on their TV, or accessing the news on their phone. Some people may not use the new technology and some may. There are many journalists and/or news anchors who can tell you news, but you never know if it is reliable because journalists tend to draw people in by exaggerating their information. But overall, the events may be true, just not the overeggarated points.

  • I think in the future that news will still be published on the "phone" of that time period. We already have the Apple Vision Pro that lets you do things like play a video game or access the internet in public without a phone. Though this does come at a huge price, it is still amazing to see how this works. I think the news will be transmitted this way because almost everybody has a phone and is glued to it, so who knows how this will evolve?

    1. I agree because this phone that will be created in some years to come will not just help play video games but can also help in getting information about many things or about the news and this can also tell us if the news that we get are true or not true in the future this machine will be able to do thing that even they people who created them can not do also the future will be a very fun place with the help of AI being a guide for us the human. I really can't wat for the future to come.
      THAK YOU!!!

  • Despite to the advances we have had with technology, I still believe the future of news will be over social media - television news outlets like the BBC and good morning Britain will very much die out, as the newer generations tend to not watch television channels. I believe that reliable news outlets will also slowly begin to get more obscure - as people spread news themselves, no matter how false or misleading this can be. It will be extremely dangerous for the newer generations as they have wide access to biased canards and untrue information that could potentially lead to higher naivete, lack of better judgement and a very poor sense of media literacy. Also, high exposure to political news may easily sprout extremist and closeminded views, which is something already happening now online - as so much is polarized by how the current press forms it's news. Some individuals may prefer to use paper, however I believe by that time newspaper will be obsolete.

  • In the future, I think newspapers in the tangible paper form will become obsolete as the world advances with digital technologies. Although people may argue that paper based news becoming obsolete is a bad thing, I believe it is good as news can be reported quicker and can be edited and changed to reflect advancements in stories etc. It would also be more widely available as people can access the news everywhere; computers, tablets, phones- we are constantly connected to the virtual world. I believe the demographic will also increase as not many young people will purchase a paper newspaper. By going digital it means the news can be consumed more widely and means awareness of current events etc. increases. Furthermore, by going digital it allows for more opinions and viewpoints therefore reducing bias (as we are aware some print media has its own ideas it aligns with) therefore allowing people to consume news from a wider source would help people explore a more balanced view. For example, different news outlets have different opinions regarding politics and current affairs, and while this is understandable and everyone is entitled to their opinion and stance on subjects, it can mean that there is a narrowing of the wider picture and context and if this is all people are exposed to then it means they could have a more distorted view of events.

In order to check that news is reliable we can check multiple sources and follow reputable sources.

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be with digital technology because it will cost significantly less and with the prevalence of technology in society people are connected to the virtual world pretty much constantly. With this it becomes easier to access compared to traditional newspapers as they're not available instantly. By costing less it could motivate people to access the news as there isn't a cost associated with it. It is also more environmentally friendly. Alongside these there's the benefit that digitally available news can be more easily edited to reflect updates and this means people are better informed in a more timely manner.

In the future we would continue to fact check by checking multiple sources and following reputable sources to ensure the news we are consuming is accurate.

  • In the future, I think the way people will get their news will be by using online services and social media as it is more eco-friendly (as there will be no use of paper) and more available to the public than having printed newspapers in shops or by your doorstep. If you spend an average of £0.50 ($1.50) on a newspaper every day for a year you are spending £182.50 ($547.50) annually. You can access the news for free on social media or pay for a subscription which usually will equal £122.64 ($155.88), meaning you are saving £59.86 ($391.62). Nowadays, the entire world is online so using social media will accompany a wider audience and the message of the news will be seen by more people in a much faster time. With the help of ordinary civilians, posts can be shared and the word will be spread quickly. Also, the news that is seen online can be edited or changed by the publicitor. So if a story needs updating, there will no longer be a need for multiple papers being created.

  • Due to the way technology has evolved over time we have gotten our news from a variety of different places for example the radio or tv. But of course just like we humans technology will continue to evolve with us. Then again we don't know how it is going to evolve it could be good or bad or even both. In the future I think that people will most likely read the news from their phones not TVs as not many young people now watch TV and are on their phones a lot more often. Although there are advantages to having the news on your phone instead of a tv. Like you can read the news on the go for example if you were out and about. It is also more likely to reach teenagers as again not many watch tv so young people will be more educated about what is happening in the world.

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be through different sources.

Lastly, people can make sure the news they consume in future is reliable, by checking on various sources. As mentioned above, in my perspective news would always be there, and it sources would increase, we can check the news through different sources to look whether it is appropriate and reliable.

  • I believe in the future many people will return to the more old-fashioned way. It will not be a fast transition from an almost fully digital news systems back to the use of newspapers, for example, on a larger scale. But, although this will take a long time, we will inevitably get there, as more and more people begin to realize the negative impact of technology on their lives.
On the other hand, it will still not be exactly as it was a few decades ago, because people want progress. We, as citizens of ex-communist nations, do not desire a return to that system where there was only one television and only one newspaper. Here in Romania, the communist regime also imposed censorship of the press, so the people saw what the regime wanted them to see and fake news could not be prevented at all. Foreign newspapers were banned, and I know my grandfather listened to western radios when he was not seen. Regarding to this, the regime had special cars monitoring on the streets and detect who was listening to foreign radios. Kids were playing on the streets, and when they saw those cars coming, they would run home to tell their families stop the radio.
The solution is, I believe, newspapers made of algae or other natural materials which are found in abundance on Earth. This way, we will not have to cut trees anymore. As I said before, we will replace the communist ways and the current ways of consuming news with a new one, different from all before it. It can very easily be a mix of online newspapers with real ones. Preventing fake news, of course, won’t be totally achievable. But it has not totally been achieved today, has it?
In conclusion, I believe a mix of online and real newspapers is the solution to a brighter future.

  • Hi there! In my point of view,
News were published in some papers called newspapers. It evaluated and news are being published on the television. In the future, I think it can be published by television, mobile phones, laptops, computers, and even by Virtual Reality ( VR ) through AI headsets. And also I think that robots will BE the newscasters instead of humans.
    Thank you and byebye!

  • In the future, I think getting news will be more advanced! Instead of just sticking to one source, we'll have these awesome personalised news apps that know exactly what we like. Imagine that you open your news app and it's filled with all that you're interested in, whether it's sports, video games, or the latest tech gadgets. It would be like having your own personal news assistant. I think this is going to happen because technology keeps advancing as time goes on. One example is when you watch movies or series on Netflix, and it recommends shows based on what you've watched before. This is called the filter bubble. So why not do the same thing for news? Plus, with so much news online, it's hard to keep up with everything. Having a personalised news app would make it way easier to stay in the loop without drowning in information.

  • I believe that patterns tend to replicate themselves!
We read the news in newspapers today, and we'll read it online tomorrow, but the only constant in life is change. So, perhaps we'll return to a retro vibe after that and stick back to newspapers.
Additionally, if you ask me which choice I prefer, I'll always choose paper newspapers since human psychology adjusts to it better and because reading digital newspapers and using computers constantly harms our eyesight, I think we'll continue to have both options.

  • Good Day Everyone,
In future, I think the way people will get their news will be by something similar to conventional newspapers, maybe little pamphlets, because, as new technologies are being introduced, there are more chances of them getting hacked, which means, online news may not always be true, or unbiased.
Another perspective can be, safer technology, resulting in people getting news online, with more accuracy on the type of news they want to get, for example, if I am interested in Badminton, basketball, and fashion, I only get news on those topics and ones that may affect me in any way instead of everything that is being written.

  • Within the future, I think the way individuals will get their news will be a combination of different sources.

  • I think people will get their news on the internet in the future because the technology is just going to get better and the newspaper that are actually made out of paper will eventually be gone because the internet is way more convenient as you can get the latest news reports on your phone. Your phone is going to be with you most of the time so you can have the latest news reports whereas the actual newspaper do not contain the latest news report. It only contains the most important ones as there is not enough space to put all of the day's news report in a limited amount of space.
People in the future can make sure the news they consume is reliable by checking for the same news article on other platforms that they think is reliable most of the times. This will make sure that the news is reliable because that thing had to be really important for a newspaper company to put it on their newspaper and if it was fake news, it will not appear on other newspaper company's article as the companies will normally put news that is real on their newspaper article.

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be somehow fake because often time people cut a short clip out of an original video just to push a propaganda and stir up the emotion of the public because the news system knows that the heart is likely to believe what meets the eyes thereby controlling the public and turning their heart in the direction that they want. Questions should be asked to really verify how true or real a news is.

  • According to me in the near future offline methods of communicating news such as newspaper with go extinct with the increased use of digital gadgets like phone where you are able to inquire about any news you want quickly and in fraction of seconds, well there are other benifits as well , as newspapers are of various varities for example financial newspaper and the general one or most commonly used one which has varities of news local and national it is difficult to find diverse news and detailed explanation as newspaper have to report all the major events and information with a limited set of papers, secondly the issue is about how quickly can a news reach us. Well if we compare above mentioned points such as diverse and detailed news as well as how quickly can a news reach us online news system beats the offline one therefore the use of gadgets for news will increase exponentially in the future this making offline news nearly extinct and maybe we will have certain kind of chips installed in brain to access all the information of digital device as well as various other things including news.

  • I just thought about something, it’s a technology created by Elon Musk named Neuralink, that kind of technology could do unbelievable things and in the area of news no one would need anyone for their news instead they would get it out of their own heads quite literally, instead of broadcasters or social media they would get it straight from the satellites and cameras and everything that will soon be connected through an AI controlled internet, this to me is a very realistic thing and could happen sooner than we expect there is no telling what Elon and his team could be developing about it right now and how many more innovations and advancements are on their way to make people and not computers Artificially intelligent news consumers.

  • In the future, I think people will still get most of their news from social media but in a more advanced way and manner. I say this because technology has always been around from the 1st generation till date, so I do not think it will be a good idea if people expect people to stop using social media but to start using something different.
Technology always will be there but it will be advanced, the world can hardly go on without technology being here.
It is quite simple, the technology will advance but it will always remain there. Generally, I say that people should know and learn that technology and the internet will always be there but the only thing will be that the technology will be more advanced and this will be going on forever and ever, technology advances but with the same foundation being the old ways. So, I say that technological advancement is the act of technology changing over time but the idea behind the advancement is the old ways, the old way is the foundation of technological advancements.

  • In the future I think news will be spread through the social media platforms. Because, it easier and faster to get or read news on the media than on newspapers. It is also eco-friendly and it could reduce the risk of eco-anxiety. Most people just dump their news papers any where after they are done reading them, but that isn't possible when people read news on the media .In my opinion, news in the future will be spread in many digital ways but it wouldn't be through newspapers.

  • In the future, I think that news will get to us through technology like nowadays we get news from social media, street screens, phones and so on. I don't think it will leave the aspect of technology. So I think news can come to us through AI and robots because AI is going to be in the future and people say that in future, AI might take over that is why I think news will come through them in future.
In the future if we want to know if news is true, We wouldn't just believe every news that comes our way, and also we will get facts about it to see if it is true so that way we don't consume every news we hear and believe it.

  • In the future, I think that the way people will get their news will be from communication because we can't get any news without a source of communication spread from one to another. Even social media uses communication because they get this information by having conversations with others. There is no way that information can be spread without communication taking place first. But I don't think any source of news can be reliable to tell the truth because some of this news spread might be raw and not proven to be true. In the future I expect that communication can be done through different ways and manners.

  • COMPETITION #9#
In the future, I think the way people will get their news will be through the help of a new device which might be called # the graphic display. The graphic display is a cool device that records different things either news, or an advertisement clearly and at the end, plays it everywhere. I think it will be a positive impact on the world because I think that people just edit and take out some parts on the news telling lies just so they can gain more followers and can be paid but the # graphic display records and plays everything as it is because that is what it is made to do. Conclusively, I think that this will help us get not only information, but true information.
    THANK_YOU!!!

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be hearing it on social media, Facebook and so on and so forth. they will be informed of their news, sometimes the news may be false alarms and sometimes it may be real. i
I think it may be in a more advance manner where people do not have to log into their social media accounts. There may be special AI programed to do that. For the authenticity, I think people may have to rate these channels over time for themselves to determine which one they should rely on.

  • In my opinion I think that in the future there will be a more fashioned way of consuming news. I say so because this when people realize that news could come in different manner, depending on how it will fit the related audience. so there would be every tendency that people will gradually start filtering the news they process and think well before consuming them. I would have chosen a new technology that doesn't exist but most or all new advancement don't run perfectly till the testing phase is over which might take longer period. I think that people can make sure the news they consume in the future is reliable by:
1 by not saying false news:
2 by saying news that people can rely on:

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be using social media such as Facebook, twitter, or any social media handles because people don't use physical newspaper any more but people can read online newspapers . I think using technology to read the news will be good than spending your money on newspapers,
if we use read news through social media handles, we need to be sure whether is true or not. Instead of using social media handles in the future to read news, we can use holograms, billboards and content creations. The job journalism can be going in extinction because of this technology for viral news.

  • In the nearest future, I think the way people will get their news will be from a new news technology that does not exist which will be called a ( human like drone robot technology) because as we know, the world is fast evolving and we might not be chanced to the use of newspaper, magazines, and possibly even people who go to get news to bring for broadcasting .This technology will travel miles and places to gather up information which will be stored in them to share to every site or devices. Well, I think people can make sure the news they consume in future is reliable by this human like drone robot, because this robot is going places and taking note of the happenings in the places , it is not just picking news from places on the net to add but what it sees.

  • Competition #9
"In future, I think the way people will get their news will be mainly from one source because it could come from videos, newspapers, social media etc. In my opinion I think people could make sure the news they consume in future is safe for them. for instance I will say newspapers could be something I think would be in the future for people to get information about news., as a young person I wouldn’t believe what they say and do until I see it is said to be proven true. Sometimes people assume that, since it is just newspaper what they write is all true and believeable. I feel that is one of the main reasoning’s that causes conflict in my country Nigeria.
In addition to what I have said i feel that they way news should come in should be from one main source that has been properly filtered and vetted.
    Thank you!!!

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be social media because before the news announced what would happen is the person that was there in the incident sends the information to social media and spread it around the world. I say this because social media has made the world a global village and someone who is in the city of the incident might here news about from a relative or friend in another country.

  • In future, I think that the way people will get their news will be through AI because they will be able to spread the news more efficiently than journalists and they will also help in such a way that they will authentically be able to spread news and to also filter the type of information that it retrieves, it will be able to tell if it is factual or non-factual, these are some of the advantages of using the AI as a means of news communication and spread.
Lately, people only look at the advantages but they never look at the disadvantages, the disadvantage of this is that lately, the occupation of journalism is growing extinct because people no longer rely on them for most of their news and this will be and is terrible. The question that has been on my mind is whether AI will be able to take the occupation of journalism. Why or why not, the second will be that is there a way for journalism to remain that is people living side by side with both the AI and journalist as a means of news communication and spread?
The answer to these questions will be able to decide the outcome of JOURNALISTS VS AI, WHO WILL WIN?
    THANK YOU!!!

  • In the future, I think the way people wil get their news will be through holographic displays watch like that of henry danger portable and easy to access. So that no matter where you are, you can get access to news.
But for these to happen there should be proper networking. We should not forget the fact that with these devices coming up might make journalist lose the jobs , so I thought of a safe way of making them not to lose their jobs journalist are really going to play a good part in these holographicdisplay and they still get to deliver the news like that of a television.

  • For this week’s competition I think the way news will get transmitted to people is through social media. Social media gives us the trending broadcasts but I always ask myself can artificial intelligence go beyond social media and create something revolutionizing? Like a faster way to send trending news? The innovation I’ve thought of is the visual reality headset this work as a phone, laptop and Global Positioning System {GPS} I think this can transmit news faster the social media network informing people about the dangers of the world and also what is trending I also think journalism as an occupation might not be useful because of the evolved world getting news transmitted faster.

  • In the future, I think the way people will get their news will be through social media because it is the trending thing now and the fastest news platforms, people use phones, and gadgets to podcast news faster than news reporters. In my perspective in the future, there will be nothing like news stations, newspapers and so other traditional ways of casting news because of the world’s technological advancement. Although in the future news will be transported faster we need to be careful though about everything we hear or see because not everything is true on social media. I also think that there will be a better way of regulating social media so that even we young and underaged can safely use it without getting negatively influenced and abused.
    THANK YOU!!!

  • In the future, I think the way people will get there news will be that people when news is put out there, there will robots that will immediately get the news and alert their user that news is available, and there will be special features that analyze the information whether it's true or fake. Because Ai is the future of the world and what better way can we embrace the future than robots that deliver news to people. Ai can already do some things that are related to that like, solve hard mathematical problems in seconds or maybe analyze a problem in minimal time.
If Ai can already analyze these things what stops people from allowing them analyze news. This already opens a huge opportunities for us this will make this development easier than it would if Ai couldn't analyze .

  • I think that in the future people will no longer use the media or their phones any more, i think that they will be receiving the news through a digital drone or a robot news machine that will come to everybody's house one by one to tell them the news very fast and safe.

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be ON WEBSITES there is every possibility that news paper in the future will be of no use because now are days people don't use news paper to get headlines on what is happening because technology has greatly improve and happenings around the world can just pop up on the notification of your device, i believe that there people who still go to website like chrome, opera mini, and other websites and search for what is happening. For example: Some time ago, my dad buys a lot of news paper and reads them but now he just goes to opera mini and reads what happening in the country/society. However, some of this news may not be true because you can see short video clips of an event trending all over social media and it can be possible that this event actually took place but all you see is a video with no proper news report about what caused or led to that effect. Reliable news journalism with proper documentation will help a great deal to help the public to have some kind of closure.
    THANK YOU!!!

  • In future, i think the way people will get their news will be true the internet because. most people will be tired of staring at news paper they would like to see the real video and true story. the news consumers will get a good news on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook the news might become popular again. and also the journalist's should be the ones bringing up news of what is happening or what is going to happen. Apart from all this there is still fake new all around the world especially on the internet, news can also be gotten from blogs , websites and broadcasts .
    THANK YOU!! 💕

  • In my own perspective I think that in the nearest future there would be an invention whereby there would be more web or internet inventions that would be more accurate and clinical for people to source information about the news and etc. , I say this because our world is gradually becoming digital day by day this bring us back to AI , as days passed by a lot of people started using the AI in order to complete complex equations, to do neat a neat job in their work , it helps in interpretation of different languages, it helps in completing jobs accurately. I also think that in the nearest years to come AI would be upgraded to a more accurate level to an extent that it would be able to give the latest news around the community . Apart from this, a lot of jobs are at risk as a result of how the world is going digital some of which is very important is :
Journalism: AI is gradually affecting the journalists , I say this because its use can provide a significance advantage as well as critical challenges that can dramatically transform the way information is being distributed to people .

  • Hello, there.
In future, I think the way people will get their news is "NewsGPT" because it will bring news to people from any part of the world within a short period of time. In ancient times people used to collect news through direct conversation, cover announcement etc. After the invention of writing, they used to exchange news by writing on paper or stone. After that, when paper and printing machines were invented, it became easier for people to get news. Nowadays, people can get information very easily with the help of mass media, online and internet. In the future, NewsGPT will make it easier for people to get news. It will provide correct news about any issue to the people. People get tired while providing news. But NewsGPT will be powered by AI. AI will tirelessly deliver news all the time. As a result people can get news at any time.

NewsGPT will be very reliable for people. If people have any opinion or question about the news then they can do it directly. As a result there will be no doubt among people about news. In future, it will be a trusted source that everyone needs. This platform will provide quality news to the readers with accurate and unbiased information. I think, Future News GPT will be a beacon of truth and accuracy to the readers.
    Thanks.

  • With technology and social media making it easy for news to reach a wider audience at a fast pace and people canceling their newspaper subscriptions for safety reasons because of the covid-19 pandemic, the overall decline in the use of newspapers through the years is visible. Though it may not be many people's go-to source for news now, some still enjoy the feeling of paper in their hands just like how they prefer hard copy of books rather than reading them on kindle. Reading newspapers with their morning tea is a part of the daily routine for the elders in my family and many others too. But when looking at the stack of news from the previous days, concern for the environment also pops up in several minds. With the advantage of speed and less wastage in technology's side I think they will soon top the sentimental relation that people have with news papers and they will be used less and less in the future.

  • I believe in the future, newspapers will still be popular for getting news since many people rely too much on technology. Even though digital news is easier to access, newspapers have their own advantages. Once you have a physical copy, it can't be changed or deleted. Newspapers can be stored easily and read even if the company stops publishing. Many libraries keep old newspapers safe nowadays, so it would be easily accessible.

  • In past, people used newspaper to know about news. After some decade, people started to use radio. Then, after inventing television they used it to hear news. But
today we live in a world where technology has been used in every sphere of our life like phone, computer etc. From getting up in the morning hearing alarms to going to sleep. Even we used technology to know about the news happening around us.
In future, I think people will get their news through virtual reality (VR) experiences. VR will provide an entirely new way to consume news. It is now used in many concerts too. This shift to VR news consumption will provide a level of engagement and plunge that traditional media formats cannot match. When we will put on a VR headset we will be transported to the heart of the news. We will be able to feel the news, observe the atmosphere and witness the event. Journalists will capture the news using 360-degree cameras. We can feel like that we are physically present in that location without going there. We can feel how realistic it is when we see news.

People should choose trustworthy VR resources to make sure that the news they consume is reliable. Fact-checking mechanisms and completing robust verification processes for VR news content will make sure the authenticity of the news. Allowing users to provide feedback, reviews and ratings for VR news experiences can help to establish a system of accountability. This will identify any potential misinformation or biased content in VR.

  • In the future, I think the way people will get their news will be a modernised way as we saw that due to the abundance of technology, the offline mediums are decreasing and online mediums are increasing. One of the way of advanced technology, that I think will be brought up in the coming society would be that the vehicles we own would have the automation of the news; not through the radio as it sometimes get delayed but through GPS tracker which would have the access to our location's vehicle and the spot where the news took place, So even if we are travelling and not carrying phones with us we are getting up-to-minute news and if we are eager to know about the incident in more detail as an inspector; through the GPS tracker we can access to that spot of the incident. This GPS tracker would be installed in vehicles of every sort. Hence, we can say that reporting would be more technological.
Also, people can make sure the news they consume in future is reliable as fake news would be more accurately filtered in those days probably more controlled by independent bodies so that true news reaches people. It would be both digital and paper wise because we could observe people want slower life. Nowadays, reverse urbanisation is increasing, people preferring smaller places and simple life.

  • I think people will have some kind of way of communication and notification implanted in their brains, it seems quite silly, but we have to think about the what ifs, anything can be possible in the future. The reason I said this can be possible is because at the rate technology is advancing, why not?. You have to think outside the box using the information or knowledge you have inside it. That is what makes ideas more fun. News can be communicated through the communication network implanted in human brains or other communication ways connected to the body.

  • I think the way the people will get their news will be the internet, to begin with as we know it's going to be a century till the invention of internet and the people got so much crazy towards the mobile/phone that when ever this generation gets bored they start scrolling their phone instead they can do something physical the world also started thinking now getting the newspaper flipping the pages just gets boring so they invented internet news so people are more likely to prefer the internet.
In addition to the internet can be harmful in terms of news as we know Sora AI created such an advanced technology that you just need to type what video you want to make so if you want to make a person criticise so you can surely use the AI and the world also blindly believes because how can internet lie? Furthermore if we see a benifit so the language written on internet is very beautiful and we can understand the whole stories in short paragraphs and in fact newspapers I get confused often due to clarity and space between paragraphs but the side effects could be losses of jobs like directing , acting ,journalism although our grandparents would still prefer newspapers because as we tell about fake news and hacking our grandparents get warned and as the old memories at that age grandparents become child again because most of the things they cannot di without any help and they get more physical to conclude in future newspapers will still exist as old memories and the demands internet will increase and one day everyone will be very sick and obese due to no physical movements due to robots and AI.

  • Hi Everyone!
News is the information we get about the world around us. News comes in different forms at different times. For example- First, before the digital era (Present) people would get news in physical forms like newspapers or magazines and some people would shout the news in a public area for people to hear. But, now in the digital age, we get news from phones. What I am trying to say is the way of receiving new has changed largely over time.
The way of getting news has changed over many years. Have you thought more new ways we could get news in the future? I think as we are modernising, the only way we will get news will be the digital way.
In future, these can be the probable ways by which news can be delivered to the people :
1- I think that on roads, there would be many small tablets or touchpads that would display the news. They could be put on poles or walls, each of them at a small distance from each other. It could be similarly sized as the TV you find in planes. Now you are probably thinking how will the government be able to afford these for the masses for free use?
Well, as technology is getting more and more advanced I wouldn't be surprised if the cost of such small devices would be cheap.
2- When you are on a road or highway, have you seen those huge posters above you? I believe that those huge posters could still be used, but in the form of TV screens. With this paper won't be wasted. Some of these digital posters are already in my city.
3- Drive thru theatres could become public TVs for people.
I don't think that VR news would be a good idea as it would be difficult to put on a headset or 3D glasses. I think there could be holograms to help people see the news.
If people would want to read news at home there would probably be televisions, mobile phones, and so much more!
Now, how do we decide that the news we are seeing is reliable?
Well, if you think that the news you are reading is "too good to be true" then, its fake!
You can also check that same news with other sources. If it doesn't match, then it is fake.
    Thank You

  • I think "News" is going to be on the list of most important things someone needs to be up to date with every day, in the future, this is going to become more crucial as the advancements and threats increase in this ever-changing world are now more passive then ever and this pace of change will increase making it even important for a homeless to know what is happening in the world around him.

It will be difficult for people to test the reliability of the news in the upcoming times this difficulty will increase as nowadays the increase in the use of artificial intelligence, faking of events statements by individuals, usage of sensational headlines, and emotional aspects in the news to mislead the reader or most importantly the commercialization of news is very dangerous . As the news will be in favor of the powerful or the one with more contacts and the trying to be honest in this dishonest world will be criticized. So will be required to review every evidence the language, the sources and the bias of a media coverage institute without consuming news from it.
Thus, me nowadays people trust a machine more than a human on the grounds of information same will happen for robot journalists will be appointed by governments or people who want news at the same moment they reliably will appoint their own robots drones humanoids in different locations and sites and gather news in these ways while the conventional news consumptions ways will be modernized but still be used in some or other manner by someone somewhere.

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will depend on technology because of the advance progress of technology and social media. Technology and media have made it possible to get the latest news within the short period of time. Nowadays people don't need to wait for the newspaper to get the news which had already happened in the previous day. So, newspaper will be completely replaced by online news. It will also help to protect the environment as paper is made from trees. Hence if we switch traditional newspaper to a digital newspaper, it will help us to prevent climate change along with giving us the latest news on time. But people need to be conscious about the fake news while consuming news from online. I am hopeful that in near future measures will be taken to ensure the authenticity of the news and to prevent people from coming in touch with fake news. Different new technologies may invent to make the news authentic and reliable, free from fake news. People will be able to get the news instantly from the spot through advanced technology. To make the online news reliable we need to apply different laws and regulations. We also need to raise awareness among the people about fake news. If the authority takes proper steps, then we might make the online news the most reliable source. I really looking forward to the day where we will consume news fully by using technology and social media without any worried because this medium will become the most trusted media.

  • Good day to all ,
According to me , In the future - people will be able to get news from various mediums such as newspaper , television and social media and many more . They will be able to see the news in which they can match their interest.

To check whether the news is true or not , people can recheck the facts carefully and analyse about what they actually read . There are alot of tools that help identify that where has the news come from and if it is true or not. There is one more thing that has to be noted that news organizations and alot of tech companies may combine together to make sure that the news is trustworthy.

To reach more people with this idea we could teach them skills such as - fact checking and analysing skills . We can also invent easy to understand and easy to use tools to help people identify their interest.

I believe that whichever news you observe or read you should be aware of not believing it without getting certain fact-checking and analysing it.

    Thank you !!

  • I believe that with technological development, the way we receive world news will change Instead of Newspapers people will have Smart chips In their brains Alert them On news of nearby disasters. It allows them to see the event through a virtual dimension She warns them if there is a natural disaster near them and gives it to public slide for free And the chip will be in control by the government even people can't hack this system So that people can get the right news And that chip will work with artificial intelligence It will be connected to the system via satellites in outer space There will be stations that take the news and then transmit it to the people And the people will be able to work there

  • In the future, I strongly believe people will have an advanced way of getting their news, because it has been noticed that the plans made for the future will have a lot of AI generated substances. Already people have an easier way of getting their news, and technological product are being made fast for the future or for present use. So, I'm sure there will be a very easier way to access news without a person having to be checking on their personal devices or reading the newspapers, and I'm positive about the news not only being from one source, since some people already use other sources for news on the present day we are in.

  • I think in the future, people will get their news in terms of advanced technological advancements and changing societal preferences. Take for instance personalized news delivery systems, where people receive their desired news updates based on their interests, preferences, and browsing history. In addition, the rise of artificial intelligence and natural language processing may lead to the development of virtual news anchors who deliver news updates interactively. With all this, people can have instant access to news, stories, and the latest trends. However, I believe that traditional news sources such as newspapers, television, and radio may continue to exist for people who live in rural areas but might reduce as the majority of people would use social media channels as their news source for receiving news or information.

  • In future, I think the way people will get their news will be either the same or old fashioned because we are not progressing one bit. We do not put our creativity skills into use(mosly because we rely on AI), and we believe that where we are is just enough and advanced, so we don't push ourselves to making new things. We started using newspaper to get news a long time ago and it's still common. In the past, People made huge progressions and expected a lot from us since we basically have everything. I think people can make sure the news they consume in future is reliable by getting lots of confirmations from different sources. They could also tell other people to see their reactions towards it. Some would say "it is a lie" and some would say "it is true".

  • Hi there! I think that In the future AI will play an important role in the way how we get news. Now, I will say two ideas about news in the future. I think that there will be a robot with a big screen that's attached to it with the news written on it and the robot tells it in a loud voice. In this case people will have two choices. They either can read the news that is written on the screen or hear what the robot says. Another prediction is that there will be a smart watch that you can buy it in a low cost that you can know from it all the news. Also I predict that there will be a smart VR headset that can show you a virtual screen written on it all the news. Also I think that all traditional methods which are currently in use will disappear.

  • In future, I think people will be getting their news through immersive experiences, like a 7D movie. For example, If there's a news about a storm somewhere, the consumer could feel the gush of winds (in a way that would be safe for them) or if there's a news about polar bears they could see them through a VR, feeling that they are just infront of them. I think so because technology is becoming better day by day and it is possible we could create immersive experiences for consuming news too. Also these days VR, AR, MR and many other interactive technologies are becoming extremely popular, which is another reason for news being consumed through immersive experiences. I think it will be very cool to experience the news we are recieving. This could have some advantages too, like the news will be more relatable and memorable, making many people want to know the news. As these days, I don't see many people actually being curious about news and reading newspapers or watching news channels. This way people would be curious and be updated about everything important. Immersive news could also help visually impaired consumers get better quality news. It also makes news more impactful on consumers as they actually experience what's happening. When it comes to consuming reliable news, whether that be from any source, I think the only way is to consume it consciously while checking for facts and lies. Whether it's the present or the future fake news is a big problem and it deceives consumers so having news with a conscious mindset can be helpful.

  • Hi topical talk
My opinion is about newspapers physical news paper and internet telling the news
My dad always read physical newspapers everyday until
An app came out . He started reading the news on that app . He also uses the newspaper too but most of the time he reads news on that app
Internet news are good but can be fake too.
The news that we read on newspapers are not fake most of the time.
Internet news can good but the people who can't afford mobile. Read newspaper to know the news around them.
They also need to read news so , we can say physical newspapers are better than internet news
The difference between phical newspapers and internet news are

1-Physical Newspapers:Typically published once a day (morning or evening editions). The news is current up to the time of printing.
Internet News: Can be updated more frequently. Websites and apps provide real-time updates, ensuring the latest information.

  • In the future, I think the way people will get their news will be through a new technology. Like earlier we had only a few news sources like newspapers and radio. Now we have televisions and smartphones to consume news in which social media is the main source. In the future, there might be development of a new technology using AI which will give us a personalised news feed.
With all this, one source of news will never be changed which is COMMUNICATION. Humans are social beings and hence, talk to each other. When they talk, many news topics open up and they can discuss it and spread them further. This has been a mode for the transfer of news since the ancient days and will continue to be in the future.

People can make sure that the news consumed by them in the future is reliable by ensuring that the origin of the news is from an authentic source. Like they can read the news directly from authentic sites or they can personalize in the new technology from which channels they would like to hear the news.

  • Good Day Topical Talkers
In future, I think the way people will get their news will be through from various sources especially the news we receive on the internet will be the most common way. I also believe the technology of AI will be used to provide preferable news to different individuals.

A question regarding the same was raised in 2023 and majority of the people said that majority of people will turn to their Internet-connected mobile devices as their main news and information source. I believe AI will replace our place in newsrooms and also the place of journalist for accurate news. Contradicting this Amy Eisman, a journalism professor and director of writing programs at American University's School of Communication, believes that no matter how news distribution develops, the journalist will always be the most important piece of news delivery.

In IJNet a poll was conducted where they asked the viewers to predict how most people will receive the news in your region in five years -- print, television/radio, online or on a cell phone. The majority (46%) believe news will be most accessed online. 27% percent believe TV/radio will be the most accessed mediums, and 22% predict cell phones will be most widely used. A mere 5% believe most people will receive the news primarily via print media. But according To most experts the print media is on the decline and there are rare chances of it even lasting till 2030

Regarding the reliability, I believe in future there will be verifying AI and technologies which will help in checking the authenticity of the news. However, Literacy of people is most important in identifying which news is authentic and which is not
    Thank you
