Will Brexit change violent crime?

FeaturedImage_Crime_3.jpg

Talk is all about Brexit nowadays. Everyone is worried about what a no-deal brexit would be like. But will violent crime change?

Police say that if a no-deal brexit takes place, there will be lots of problems. One of the main problems is that a police officer will not immediately be able to arrest an EU criminal on the street because the criminal records of all EU criminals are kept in the EU,meaning the officer would have to go to the EU to verify the paperwork needed for an arrest. This could affect crime rates because EU criminals could come to Britain, leaving us with all these criminals on the streets.

In conclusion, i believe that a no-deal brexit would cause lots of issues for the police. we would be better ofef to either have no brexit, brexit with a deal or stay at home.

    Thanks for you post.
It would be good if you could support this Final piece by:
    1. Finding out how many violent crimes are committed by EU citizens, as a proportion of all violent crimes
    2. Include the source of your information that says that the police will have limited access to EU records
