What does America think?

FeaturedImage_Walls_9.jpg

If your country was about to spend all its money on something that you thought was completely worthless, would you be very happy? If your country, was about to go into a time of confusion and stress, would you be very happy? And if ycountry was under the power of a man you couldn't disagree with more, how would you be feeling?

Feeling 1:

I feel stressed out! Who knows what will happen next? All my and the country's money is going into this wall, and I'm scared about the world me, my family and children will grow up in! I want to teach them that seperating people that mean no harm is not righ. I want to teach them that the world is not a perfect place, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try and do our best to be good, loving and peaceful. But how am I mean to do that if all these things are happening right under our noses. Unlike other situations, WE HAVE NOTICED!!! Yet we don't even get a say on wheather we want this to happen or not. People may not mean any harm by keeping the country to themselves, but what are we gaining? People will always find a way in, we won't get our money back, we can't do anything and the situation isn't getting better because when a country is bankrup, everyone is lost and fairly hopeless!!!!

(That may be a slight exaggeration, but people want their opinion to be heard!)

Feeling 2:

I feel angry!! What right does Trump have to go and march up to anyone he wants, demand money to build this controversial wall yet no one other than him and his group want the wall to go ahead. Why should the money that I go towards something I don't want. It's like being controlled - you're forced to do something you don't want to. What is the point of voting if you're opinion is just going to be shut down?

(If on this club, we couldn't say what we thought, or when we did, it wasn't listend to. Imagine if people's posts and comments we only published when the opinion was agreed with by leaders. Imagine if your opinion was thought of as wrong and right. How would that feel?)

Feeling 3: I feel fine about the situation I'm in. I know that it will work out some how, and with the help of friends, family, those in power and advising them, people that work hard for our country and others in different places. I know that is easy to feel scared, and curl into a ball and cry. But why, when we will get through it at some point, when we will sort it out with many people, and, if this wall happens at all, (hwhich I doubt it will) be so worried. People aren't appy and will protest. And I plan to take part in those protests. But instead of being...

  • Angry,
  • Distressed,
  • Worried,
  • Fraustrated,
  • and confused,

Why not trust those around you and feel calm!

There should be no walls anywhere because family’s have been separated. Kids are missing their families

    Hey, @constructive_leaves!
As much as I do agree with your statement, I also disagree.
Firstly, we have to consider our safety. When you say "no walls anywhere", you mean ALL walls should be removed - don't you? Both physical and invisible ones. Well, if we get rid of all physical walls, then we’d be in danger. The walls in our houses will not be there to hold the roof and other things in place; meaning they’d probably crash down on us. Doors act as a sort of wall, so they’d have to not be there, either.
All of this concludes we’d all be out in the open, exposed to serious threats.

Then, it’s a matter of privacy. I severely doubt that you’d want people – strangers, for that matter – peeking about, and sticking their noses where they don’t belong. I’m talking about toilets. There would be no cover for you to do your business. Especially for PUBLIC ones and girls’. I simply can’t imagine the embarrassment – can you?
But away from that. Walls include gates, fences and railings. If you have a garden (unlike me) then you most likely will have your space, then your neighbour’s – side by side, perhaps split with a fence. If that fence was to be removed, there would be arguments about which side was whose, and you or your neighbour trying to sneakily edge that few cms of space. And even if this did not happen, you will probably find your neighbour spying on you each time you look out the window.
As you can see, things will probably end in some kind of disaster.

If borders were to be removed, however, it would end up catastrophic. People wouldn’t know where to go, which country they were in – navigation would fail. There would honestly be an awful lot of disorder about, even if borders are invisible.
What do you think, @constructive_leaf, now that you’ve heard my points?

I think that Donald Trump is making people despise him because he is cutting out Mexico causing parts of Mexico to starve to death. However all Donald Trump cares about is his country, this is making Mexico angry and now this is why they are introducing drugs and guns to try and get Donald Trump to give in and get rid of the wall and solve this catastrophic event of emotions.
