Brexit is the big news going around!
What'll happen next?
Will we leave it what?
What will May do about Brexit?
Let's see if we can find out what...
"The central idea of the government's new proposal for the future relationship with the European Union after Brexit is a free trade area for goods."
This plan is meant to avoid checks on the border between northern Ireland, and protect the production of merchandise for use or sale, supply lines.
How exactly will this help?
Each country (in the EU) receives money back from the EU to support development and other projects, similar to their contribution which was for the UK in 2015 was £8.5bn - according to Treasury figures.
So coming out of the EU would mean we didn't have This money and help which we revive back from the EU.
But having Theresa May's plan, will help us to AVOID checks.
But there's another part of the plan.
May's plan would...
Allow Britain to establish its own trade policy.
Which is mostly what the EU does.
To make this a bit easier, what the EU does in full definition is...
"The EU has grown steadily from its six founding members to 28 countries. Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands signed up to the EEC, or Common Market in 1957. Britain, Ireland and Denmark joined in the first wave of expansion in 1973, followed by Greece in 1981 and Portugal and Spain five years later. Eastern Germany joined after unification and Austria, Finland and Sweden became part of the EU in 1995. The biggest enlargement came in 2004 when 10 new member countries joined. Romania and Bulgaria joined in 2007 and Croatia was latest to sign up in 2013."
"There are four key institutions which work together to run the EU - the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the Court of Justice. Watch the video to find out how they fit together and what they do."
I'm my own words...
The 28 countries who make up the EU are Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Britain, Ireland and Greece, Portugal and Spain, Austria, Finland and Sweden, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia. (You wouldn't get a bad deal with all these different types of countries out together in a trading and peace unit!) The four main organisations that work together to run the EU, are the European commission, the council of the European union, the European parliament and the court of justice. (Find out more here... )
So if she can make a deal with other countries to do the same as what the EU does now, she might have found some way in which the deal will work.
Downsides of the plan:
• (Crazy idea but) if there were another war then we WOULD BE IN TROUBLE!!!
• (IF the deal doesn't work)we could be left leaving the EU without a Brexit deal.
• Lots of things will be changed, so people may feel insecure.
But May's plan may work, and her decision will mostly affect US as WE are the FUTURE!!!
