I've been looking at the last post I made about this topic and it's been doing very well so a quick thank you cus that was my first post :). So I read the comments and they have persuaded me to make a part 2. Enjoy!
Are the Police being Taken Over By Technology? (part 2)
I now think that the police are not being taken over by technology thanks to balanced_singer and honorable_conclusion. So, I (now) think that the police AREN'T being overtaken by technology but it helps them instead. They pretty much work with each other. We need the police to look at the security cameras when they catch something important.
On the one hand, they’re not being taken over by technology but they rely on technology because the police might use technology like a tracking device on the criminals car. If the police has a criminal that keeps changing number plate, they might need to use a fancy device to find out where the criminal is so that they can catch them and arrest them.
On the other hand, they are being taken over by technology because the police need technology to store data. For example, they need a database to store criminal records if someone gets sent to court two or more times then the judge will use the database for the criminal record and use it against the criminal in court. That also reduces crime too-some criminals are in prison. This is the other reason why the police aren't being taken over by technology.
To conclude, I believe that he police aren't being taken over by technology. Thank you for reading.
