What do I think about Donald Trump's wall?

I think that Donald Trump has made a wrong decision because if other people had to migrate from there country, then there would be chaos and there might be debates and conflicts about if to let people into their country or not. If more conflicts happen and votes then the more people would be worried about where should they go or the people who live there would say ' no that's wrong and we should let them in because where are they going to stay?' . There are lot's of migrations happening because of more wars and the most common countries to have a war is: Syria, Jordan, North Korea and Afganistan. Did you hear about the story of Manar who had to migrate to England? Think about if they said 'no your not allowed to enter'. That's why it isn't always good to block of other people every single time because they wouldn't be able to migrate to a close country. We should destroy the wall for good!

I think that there should Not be a wall between the USA and Mexico and I have some reasons to back me up!
    1. What are these debates and protests going to lead to?
Lets pause for a second. In our most recent topic - Brexit - we were talking about democracy and different types of votes, like a referendum. Britain was supposed to leave the EU on the 29th of march then it got postponed to the 23rd to the 26th of may and then it got pushed back again to the 31st of october. This is all because of disagreements . Here is a situation.. What if Something like this happens to America? Another country argument is not needed and I don't think anyone wants one.

    2. Whilst this wall disagrement is taking place lives are at stake!
Migration camps. Thousands of people are waiting outside the current border to get into the U.S.A and are not in good living conditions. As we are enjoying our homes many are having to sleep in meer tents . As we are enjoying our hot food people are waiting in hunger. As we are enjoying comfortable clothes many have ripped ones. As we are getting proper health some get none . As our lives are filled with excitement kids our age do have fun but their are endless possabilitys beyond that and what about education. Each day we go to school for around 6 hours where as others aren't getting any! This amount of loss should surely be betterly managed for...

Well done for linking to our previous topic! Can you be open-minded and consider the arguments on the other side? If everyone who wanted to come to America was allowed to, what might the consequences be?

The consequences would be that America could get over populated and there is slightly more of a chance that drug dealers and illegal activity could enter the country.

Why do you think over population worries people?

I think it worries people because when it is over populated there are slimmer chances of finding a house. This can also lead to having to wait for a house in a hotel. It might also worry people because there would be more students in a class which makes the time for each kids question to be answered. This is worrying because there would be less time for students to get the answers they need!

Although I respect your opinion, I disagree with you because in 2016 the American public voted Mr Trump into presidency - meaning that he was in charge of the country. Many people voted for him because of the wall he was putting up ; therefore, if he did not go through with his promise then he would have not been doing what his nation thought was right at the time. In addition, the wall bordering Mexico and the US would not necessarily stop all migration as people can be allowed to enter the country on boats and planes. Also, if everyone was allowed everywhere some countries would become deserted and if we ever needed them -for certain resources they might have- then everything in that country would have gone to waste. In addition, some countries would be overpopulated. This means that people would have to live very close to each other and some would be homeless-meaning it would not be any different to before.
