Immigration, problem or resource?

the immigration theme is considered today by many people as a problem to be solved, and not as a resource from which to be able to earn.
the problem that is too current today is racism, fueled by ignorance and discomfort.
all this is certainly motivated by the profound crisis in the world, but in my opinion creating walls that are both social and concrete is a waste of time, and not a solution.
crime has always been present in history, and does not depend on the number of immigrants present in a country, rather it would be correct to expand controls and implement sanctions if crimes occur.
the trump wall can be considered as a solution, but I think that despite the consent of some, it is just an economic and social waste.
personally I have always had the conviction that studying history in all schools precisely to prevent the man of the future from repeating the same mistakes.
the trump wall will have reminded many when in 1961 it was decided to build the Berlin Wall, which later proved futile.
I think immigration is a resource, a way to exchange opinions, learn from different cultures and open the mind of the obtuse man.
so I wonder, why not start reception and integration procedures instead of blocking the phenomenon at birth?
I invite you to reflect on it and give me your opinion

Are there also some big differences between Trump's wall and the Berlin Wall? Can you point these out?
The Berlin Wall was a predominantly political wall, which divided Russian communism in East Berlin, from the liberalism of West Berlin.
People fled from the communist dictatorship of the east towards the idea of a richer and freer population.
Trump's wall would be a social wall, to divide the "degradation" caused by the poverty of Mexico from the far better living standards of southern and central America.
so I think the trump wall is definitely a useless waste.
What are the differences between Trump's wall and the Berlin Wall?
Trump's wall i probably going to be more free for the Americans i think because it's USA building it.
The Berlin wall closed everybody off they couldn't go where they wanted to go they had to stay.
Surely it closes a smaller area, but it forbids the access to needy people for insignificant and superficial reasons compared to those that were had for the construction of the Berlin wall

Yeah, he thinks he is helping the people, well he is closing off the drugs but many will probably be sad because they had friends in Mexico or U.S.A. I feel bad for those who have to deal with him because he probably won't even build his wall
I sincerely hope that Trump will abandon this crazy idea, as I think that socialization and cultural exchange between different peoples is fundamental to the era in which we live.
As the philosopher Aristotle maintained, man is a social animal and condemning the Mexican to a situation of local monotony is not entirely correct
