Donald Trump: A Fascist?

FeaturedImage_Walls_9.jpg

Fascism is the forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy. It is my belief that, whilst he isn’t a fascist, Donald Trump is a person who displays certain characteristics of it.

Firstly, he doesn’t think about anybody else. His views are immoral and selfish: his “Make America Great Again” centres around the suppression of people of other ethnic backgrounds. Since he came to power, he has tried to prevent people from certain countries entering America - 99% of whom are harmless! Trump blames the masses for the crimes of the individual - and this is unfair. Thankfully, due to America being a democracy (something which isn’t a fascist way of ruling), the Supreme Court didn’t allow it to take place.

Secondly, Donald Trump has prevented transgender people to join the army why is he trying to control society. He can’t tell people what they can or cannot do with their lives. Women and men can join the army why can’t transgenders?

Finally, he is trying to build a wall: this is outright discrimination. Since when did Donald Trump have the right to become more superior than regular humans? Since when does someone have the right to to bar people from their human rights? Just because he’s the president doesn’t mean he can put down other people due to their background. A president is supposed to be inspirational and encouraging; someone who uplifts the country and keeping them safe. Donald Trump is the exact opposite. He does not deserve to be president.

It is my belief that, whilst he may not BE a fascist, he certainly displays characteristics that are similar to them.

What kind of captured my eye was this phrase:
"...he doesn’t think about anybody else. His views are immoral and selfish..."
I kind of think that what you said here was rude and disrespectful. Donald Trump has a big responsibility and a lot on his plate right now. Everyone is looking on the bad side of him but I want to be the person who looks at another point of view, the good side of him. His own family were also migrants (I have written a post about that) and what he is doing May be bad but I'm not trying to tell you to not share your opinion, I just want you to see another side of him. Trump may be making mistakes right now but let's look on the bright side of people instead of thinking negative!

I agree with you, I think people should be judged on their positive side, not the negative one.

quiet_horse i do not agree to your statement of Trump being a fascist because:

    1. If he was a fascist then he wouldn't be elected by the people.

An interesting point. Do you have an evidence that this is true? Are there other instances where the people have elected a leader who has fascist beliefs?
