STARS:

Stars are balls of hot gas that shine in the sky and did you know that even the Sun is a star? A bunch of stars canform a galaxy and because there are trillions of stars that means there are billions of galaxy. The Earths galaxy is the Milky Way. There are many diifferent sizes such as Supergiant stars, Dwarf stars, Neutron stars and many more... Stars can form constillaions to make a shape or patterns in the sky. They can be very helpfulm because if you are lost in the middle of the night and have no idea what to do, you can just look up in the sky and keep your eye on it and follow it. Sometims people think that the stars twinkle but that is not true because the star is just playing and messing about.

SHOOTING STARS:

A lot of people think that stars are basically shooting stars that are just zooming right past you although, they are not. Shooting stars are medias burning on fire when they get way too hotbut you can still make a wish if you want to so they are not stars.

I think the most one that interests me the most is the shooting stars because it is amazing how only a small media can shine so bright that you can see it all the way from Earth and speaking of that, how are medias created and is there an importance on shooting stars. Maybe the importance could be that it gives us extra light in the sky incase if there isn't any lightposts around so if we look up in the sky and we see a star or shooting star to guide us or maybe they can be the most rarest thing in the Solar System.

I love your facts brilliant_fossil! There is lots of things I have read here that I didn’t know before even though we did space last year for one of our topics! Such as I didn’t know that there were different types of stars like the supergiant stars, the dwarf stars and the neutron stars. I thought they were all the same! I also thought that shooting stars were stars but now I know they are not stars. They are big balls of FIRE!!! However I did know that stars can help you find your way in the dark. I also know that the sun is a star. Because it is just a big ball of fire!! Thanks for the info!!
