Should we trust NASA?
For years NASA has been promising one thing;we will land on Mars by 2030.However,this seems near impossible. Here are my reasons for saying so.
- Our economic and technological status cannot keep up with the demand for money and rescources required for a mission to Mars.
- Nasa has shortened the deadline for landing on Mars by 6 years! This gives us the same amount of work to do,but in a much shorter space of time.
- Finally,we cannot keep humans alive for 9 months (the average time from Earth to Mars.) As I explained in point 1, we simply do not have enough knowledge.
These points show the challenges required to over come for a successful mission to Mars. However technology is always advancing. Nasa is launcing InSight next year, to help us discover more about Mars. But maybe Nasa should postpone Mars missions and focus on more earthly issues.

Well we have trusted NASA for so long so they might carry on to be to be trusted but sometimes the criminals are the peaple we least expect

I think that NASA should start to focus on finding more medicines for the poorer people living on the streets before they say they will have people living on mars. Really, I think a lot of people would agree with me here, we need more people to have a healthy lifestyle because you can’t have an almost dead person living on mars. Firstly they would probably die within seconds of being in orbit. And lastly, he or she would have no experience at all.
I don’t think we can trust NASA
But NASA is all about space not about issues in earth

I do not agree with you because Mars is possible and NASA is the best while dealing with space. I think we can make it to Mars by 2030. Thank you

i found out that space is 13.8 billion years old as nasa told us but if it is that old what was there before it

I think we should trust NASA because they have made a lot of discoveries throughout the whole of space and were the first to send astronauts space so they were the first to accomplish that mission . Also as you said we do not have the greatest amount of knowledge to help our findings and what we can create with what we have, but if they decide to start exploring other planets then we could find other useful materials to make a useful aircraft that can carry a good quantity of food and water but we could attach some inflatable rockets and use them to hold an amount of food. Adding, some resources to the space ship this could help us to record the findings that we have seen if we ever get that far.
