NOTHING CAN BE RESOLVED BY A DISAGREEMENT!

Politicians and Power - Featured Image 8

Our artwork is about general election and democracy. We thought that these concepts fit together because when you go into a polling station and someone accidentally looked over at your vote and they might not agree with your vote so that might lead to a disagreement or even a fight.

We have shown this in our art by drawing sort of freeze frame showing that whatever your vote is the other person respect it and not lead to a disagreement. We mainly used red and a hint of blue. The red represents the Labour party and the blue represents the Conservatives. We have used other colours as well to show the outside world.

We have learnt that having a general election every 5 years is good so that we each prime minister has a right to speak for themselves. We want people to NEVER EVER take advantage of what other people have voted for.

We have called our artwork: NOTHING CAN BE RESOLVED BY A DISAGREEMENT!

Thank you for the final piece! Are there some things that need disagreement before they are resolved?

Yes . Because we based it about the conservative party and the Labour party because we thought they were the top 2 parties voted. Brexit needed a disagreement because they had to make deals ,talk it with the government and many more. Boris Johnson had to make things fair and there were a lot of a disagreements and debates on how we should leave and when should we leave.

This is a very interesting post! I think that it is wrong to judge someone else's opinion because they have the right to say what they want and they can think for themselves so that should not really be happening because it is not fair!
What you have said here is very important because many peoples life's are in great danger. I think that is why they say only people 18 or over is allowed to vote. I think they have said this because if this happens, it is very dangerous. What I mean by this is that children and young teenagers are still quite young and if they get into a fight with a person older, the teenager/child could get badly injured.
It is very rare for this issue to happen because normally, when you go to the polling station, there is normally this wall which covers your opinion of which party you want to lead. The only people who can see your answers is the people who are in charge of the polling station (the people who take your address ect) but even then, if they judge your opinion they would be kicked out immediately but even then, why would they be offered the job?
The last resort would be to tell the Prime Minister because they are in charge of the country for the next few years or you could also tell a politician so they can discuss it in their debate. Their is a low quality either of them will listen to the people in the local community because the Prime Minister/politician are most likely to be doing other busy things or have other ideas and opinions ahead of them. I think they should listen to us because we are living in this country and we can speak for ourselves.
This is my opinion on what we should do if this issue starts to build up because this matter can be very serious and we can not just stand there and do nothing, we have the right to speak and the right to make our opinions.
