Should we believe everything on the media

Should we believe everything on the media and I believe that we shouldn’t believe everything on the news because we write fake things about covid-19 then many people will actually fall for it as the covid-19 is a big issue which is affecting many people’s and causing people to die...from this pandemic, also why would we humans make fake things about something that can make a huge impact on people(as the covid-19 killed more than 1 million people’s lives)so I do agree that we shouldn’t put anything fake on the social medias.

Now you might be thinking why I don’t agree to the people who write fake things about serious issues that harmed half 1 millions people’s lives and the fact that because if you make untrue make stories on social media’s that everyone uses and then wouldn’t that story go on the trending page on that social media and then everybody will eventually will see the post and on the comments the users would ask the person who posted fake things about the virus if this is true so not only people will get tricked that person will become popular and also have followers and the fans will believe what the person who post it about what they said. Also if we do this then in the comments of that fake post many people will ask how did you this out? or are you an expert at these things and then the person who posted it will say that yes and then in reality the poster is lying about fake things, the social media’s has these types of people so we all need to be careful about the things that people post a great way to tell if you find something that you are not sure of is to research about it and then you will find out if it’s true or false!

Thank you for reading🤓😃stay safe!

      Hello brilliant_lobster!
I think that in my opinion we can believe things on social media but it would be majority because we use the guardian it is website about your news and anything related to society, I do understand that we can’t believe everything on social media but we can believe majority that’s because firstly look at when the post was made was it made many years ago and now there is a answer to it?or this situation was a complete misunderstanding?this really can be difficult as we do get fake things on social media we can find out if this is true by checking out on social media.
I also believe that you are semi-correct as I mentioned before we can’t believe everything on social media but I want to ask you why do YOU think that we can believe everything on social media.
Thank you for reading my post brilliantly_lobster though and I hope you can write back to me soon!

I thing you can trust the media on reliable news sources like newsround. But also youcan't rely on everything the media says because I think if you were to ask the media if they were doing a good job during lockdown they would say yes but I think no because they keep mentoning bad things about lockdown and that might make people feel sick with all the information coming at the same time and who they should trust.
