Should Aung Sang Suu Kyi Be Replaced?

2018-Issue1_Featured-Myanmar_4.jpg

As Myanmar is currenly facing a difficult plight, the country is now being viewed as a violentary place. The problem they are dealing has uncontrollably streched and reached world wide yet not a single action has been taken to solve this. And by the look of the situation, this may never be concluded

Aung Sang Suu Kyi has the major responsibility to change this the right way however she have not even planned to bring a solution or speak out some calming words to the citezens who are suffering and very much willing for a full support in life.

What is highly shocking is that Aung Sang Suu Kyi gives importance towards human rights yet she have not cared that much about Rohingyas suffer and the bad treatment that myanmar is showing towards them.

Not only this, the whole of Myanmar are currently being took over by the military but Aung Sang Suu Kyi has the power to change this because her position ,on being a Prime Minister,is a high level. So if the military are using weapons as their power, Aun Sang Suu Kyi has the full rights to use her job as a power and defeat them as this is going to help save Myanmar and their reputation.

So my opinion is that Aung Sang Suu Kyi should be replaced with someone who cares about their country and is willing to help. She does not deserve the post of Prime Minister.

No matter how much power she gains, it will never be enough to make the military stop what they are doing because if she attacks them that will be just as worse as what they are doing. It may be your opinion that she doesn't care but I personally disagree and think that you have made an invalid point. Aung San Suu Kyi campaigned for her country to be democratic and received 15 years of house arrest for it. This, quite obviously, means that she cares for her country. To conclude, she cares for her country so it is unfair to accuse her of doing nothing.

I guess I have mixed opinions. Communicative bird- I agree with you about caring for the country but this particular issue about the Rohingya she may care less. I'm not saying your wrong but could you consider this new idea? In my opinion, Victorious snow is right about her being replaced but maybe we should give her one last chance?!?!

I agree with you that she may not care but is it fair to accuse somebody when you have no solid evidence? Is it fair to say that someone is guilty when they actually might be innocent? impartial_panda_bear have you ever heard the phrase 'innocent until proven guilty' this is the reason that I am standing with Aung San Suu Kyi.

Yeah I guess your right and my mind is partly changed. However, what does she need evidence for? In my opinion, she isn’t doing enough and in my mind, to be praised she needs evidence that she has done things to save the country. On the other hand, your post was really convincing and I loved your examples.😁

I like your thoughts but if there is no proven point to blame Aung Sang Suu Kyi then there is no proven point to say that she have been taking action towards this case and that she is doing something for the country. I judged what should be done based on this major problem that is currently happening and how Aung Sang Suu Kyi didn't take any action and cared less.
So the judgement was based on the main problem that is making the Rohingyas suffer.

If believe that she is guilty I am fine with that but I will stand by her for these reasons :
    1. She is an inspirational woman who stood up for her country: Aung Suu Kyi stood up her country despite the great peril. She wanted her country to be democratic, received 15 years of house arrest over a 20 year time span, and still, because she cares for her country, ran for first state counsellor of Myanmar/Burma. Do you know how inspirational it must have been for girls and women in Myanmar?
    2. She has not been proven guilty : There is no evidence that Aung San Suu Kyi is associated with happenings to do with the Rohingya people so why should I be against her? This is like disqualifying a runner because they didn't run quick enough. Would you think that is right . I wouldn't think so.
    3. It is very stressful: Being the leader of a country is very stressful and it is even worse when everyone is pressuring you including your allies. I'm not saying we should pity her but at least give her mercy.
Thank you for reading and thank you for the compliment on my post.

Yes you are very right especially about her being inspiring. I won't say anymore on this but maybe consider the fact that this problem doesn't effect Aung San Suu Kyi are all.

I disagree with you because Aung San Suu Kyi was know for creating peace and giving kindness, I am very sure that she is going to do something to create peace between the Rohingya and the Myanmar people. Do you have anymore evidence of this? She is a Icon and an Inspiration to people for her will to fight for her people,So I strongly think this could just be a waiting time for her to think for what to do at this point. What I have said may or may not be true but In my opinion that is how I feel about the case. I understand your point of view and see what you are trying to get across.
