Is every perspective on a news story equally important?

Every perspective on a news story is equally important.

I believe that every perspective is equally important because every person to have their say. This is why great leaders declared democracy.

One reason I believe this is that we all have different opinions and it could help us in most situations, even if someone is saying/ gossiping bad things about you. For example, in Myanmar a university student, Aye Myat Mon, a Buddhist, read news on Facebook that was anti- Rohingan info. Now the girl has been foolish enough to believe it and now she’s criticising them. Aye Myat Mon quoted, “The Rohingyans are living in Myanmar illegally and I’m worried they might take over our country!”

A second reason I believe this is as well as hearing from the perspective that has been affected by it, we should also hear from those who want to help or get involved. For example, in Myanmar the leader of the UN tried to help solve the situation. He says that people should do something about it or it could get worse.

This shows that every perspective is equally important because we should be respected for whatever we say even if it is irrelevant, we can still say something so people can hear us.
