Aung San Suu Kyi criticised!

2018-Issue1_Featured-Myanmar_4.jpg

Aung San Suu Kyi was criticised because she's not been helping the violence to the Rohinga Muslims. I also think she should speak up a bit because she rules the country!

I don't think they should have taken away her awards because she has earned those awards for doing something right, but I do understand why people are not happy with her.

Aung San Suu Kyi is a Burmese politician, diplomat, author and Nobal Peaceb laureate. She is the leader of the National League for Democracy and the first incumbbent State Counseller,a position akin to a prime minister. She is also the first women to serve as Minister for Foreign Affairs, for the President's Offices,Electric Power and Energy and Education.

I agree that Aung San Suu has not shown that is helping or has not been helping her country but I think it was a bit harsh to take away her awards after she spent 15 years under house arrest. Yes she made a promise that she has not respected and something should be done about it but she got those awards for doing the right thing, but i do get where people are coming from when they say they are not happy with her.

I do agree that it was a bit harsh to put her in a house arrest for 15 years but she wasn't helping the community and alot of people look up to her as the bigger person.
