We want peace!

Peace

When protests totally cease,

In our world, there shall be peace.

People must learn to get along,

Not blame others, for being wrong.

They fight for control, fight for land,

Some just need a helping hand.

We must rid ourselves of vanity,

And embrace peace, through humanity.

Protests make children so much tougher,

Lose their innocence, while they suffer.

We should fight for peace instead,

Love not hate , we should spread.

The protests do still occur

as Hong Kong’s fate starts to deter.

When all this starts to cease

we all want only one thing :

Peace

Hi cheerful photograph! This poem is really good and you have included lots rhyming and
you talk about a lot of different things like protests what is happening and violence. I think somewhere in your poem you could've included somthing talking about human rights Like this: All they want is they're human rights
They don't want to hate they don't want to fight.
I don't understand the part where you. Mentioned children.I believe this can deeply effect the children all around the world and hong kong but In the Manner you said i:Protests make children so much tougher
Lose their innocence while they suffer.
This was very handy thinking but I don't think it matches to anything your saying. The first part,I believe protests do make people tougher and more violent but not children,it would be disgraceful if parents let their children go out into protests while war is active. The second part, children are losing theor innocence by the second through internet and hate but i don't believe they suffer,They children might go through this giving them depression and anxiety which could be relevant to what your saying.
Very good job on making this you have took your time a and time is a valuable essence in life!

The other thing that has drastically influenced me as a person is the Burnet News Club. Before I joined the BNC, I usually struggled to speak up and have my say. When I explained things, they were not very clear. So for this I thank Tom, Olivia and the rest of the BNC. I carefully read the 4 skills of being a loyal Economist and printed out the sheet so I had it in front of me whenever I wrote a post. As zoom as I

    I carried on below:

As soon as I got my first star, I felt a boost of encouragement that I was recognised and that I could do it.
