Dear Mr Gove,
I am a year 6 student at Hammond Junior School in Lightwater, which is part of Surrey Heath. I am writing to you in the regards to the Hong Kong crisis.
As you probably know, the Hong Kong crisis is already getting out of hand, but honestly I think that we should not get involved. Reason being is that China is a massive trading partner with Great Britain and in 2016 alone £42.6 billion worth of goods was shipped to Great Britain. Also, with Brexit in the way the government can get really confused easily!
Furthermore, China has the biggest army in the world so that means China have a better chance of winning. As well, us and China work well together in keeping the worlds food standard so it could affect other countries to.
To summarise, I believe that intervening could catastrophically affect our goods supply and turn on us if something goes wrong (and no one wants this).
I am strongly thankful for you taking the time to read my letter and hope to hear a response in the nearby future.
