Dear Faisal Rashid,
We have been learning about the Hong Kong crisis. Hong Kong was ruled by Britain for 150 years, and then in 1997 Hong Kong was handed back to China with an agreement that was to make sure their way of life and economy in Hong Kong would remain unchanged. China broke this promise. In 2015, 5 Hong Kong booksellers who sold books that were critical of Chinese leaders vanished and ended up in Chinese prisons. We must go over and stop this now!
