We are learning about the Hong Kong crisis. I believe that Britain should get involved in the Hong Kong crisis because we ruled Hong Kong for one hundred and fifty years before we made an agreement with China to give Hong Kong but that it would remain the same until 2047 Hong Kong would continue Britain’s laws and ethics. But as of April 2019 China is not agreeing with our agreement.
In China you can get put in jail just for criticising the Chinese government or campaigning for human rights. Obviously we shouldn’t run into the Chinese government like headless chickens but we should at least negotiate with the Chinese president. I mean in 2015 five booksellers wrote books that were critical of the Chinese leaders vanished and ended up in a Chinese prison. We should also get involved because more innocent people fighting fo human rights could go to jail.
