Dear Mr Grove,
I am a year 6 student at Hammond Junior School in Lightwater, Surrey, which is a part of your constituency in Surrey Heath. I am writing to you in regards to the terrible political crisis that is currently going on in Hong Kong. I am sure that you will agree tha5t a resolution to the situation must be found as soon as possible as many innocent people are suffering. I strongly believe, that it is our responsibility to intervene and help the residents of Hong Kong return to a state of peace free of China's unlawful influence.
In 1997 both China and Britain promised to make the way of life and economy in Hong Kong will remain unchanged until 2047 yet right now it is 2019 and China has taken too much power over Hong Kong. However, I think that we should intervene. Although, we have our own crisis on our hands (brexit) the residents of Hong Kong are relying on us to help them out of their crisis and this is not the first time that they have had to fight for their country, in 2014 the umbrella movement - which they have had to fight for as China was meddling in Hong Kong's elections - if we do help intervene with Hong Kong then we could lose our relationship with China, but i think that, that will be for the best, do you?
Although, China has the biggest army in the world, we could still help hong Kong whilst they are in a crisis. We might lose our relationship with other countries that may disagree with us.
In conclusion, I have made it very clear that we should intervene in Hong Kong's crisis. As we need to help them. Also, they are relying on us.
Yours sincearly, majestic_wombat
