Are the Hong Kong protests right?
The cause of why people are protesting in Hong Kong is a good reason but I dont think it is right to use violence should be used because they may complain about them being attacked but the protesters have to understand that the police canot leave the protesters to run free and destroy Hong Kong. But on the other hand a protester has been shot and the police should not be using violence to suppress the protest because the protesters will actually be more determined to achive what they are looking for so really the police have stabbed themselves in the back.

I understand that they can't use violence to stop violence, but if they can't do that, what can they do? Trying to stop the protests without violence won't be strong enough and using violence, like you said, will make them more angry and they will protests more. Personally, I think that the riot police shouldn't use violence because that could work and it will make them more angry and they will protest more.
I understand your comment but as you said not using violence won't be strong enough so they can't stop them
