What would happen if we didn't use money in the world?

Featured Image - Future of Work 3

People have been suggesting that there shouldn't be money in the world. The reason people think this is because they think it will make the world a better place because people always think about money but what would it really be like without money?

If there was no money people wouldn't really want to work anymore. They would rather spend time with their friends and family. The reason why many people will stop working is also because they won't really see a reward at the end of the day. And if everyone stopped working, think about what would happen to the world! Who would cure all the patients if they are hurt or sick? Who would put out all the fires? Who would stop crime? Who would produce the food like meat, milk and cheese? There's so so many reasons why we need jobs. Jobs take care of us and the world around us.

People would also get everything for free. (Not really because there wouldn't be anybody to make clothings, house e.t.c) By doing this everybody would have a home to stay in and it would probably solve poverty however..what if people took more than they need? If everybody took more than they needed, a lot of things wouldn't be available for those who actually need it. There might not be enough to go round.

Can you think of any reasons why if money didn't exist it would be bad?

Or if not do you have any reasons why it would be a good idea?

Overall, I think it is quite impossibe for money not to exist.

Thanks for reading!

In my opinion, we need money. We use money everyday to buy things like clothes, food and water. Without money there would be no economy. If everything was free, there would be selfish people who take everything and cause havoc.

I don't think the world's population could live peacefully without some form of money. In history people would swap items they needed e.g. a sheep could be swapped for plates and bowls or people could be paid for work with food and drink. This type of payment can be used on a small scale but this wouldn't work between governments where payments would be large and a fair trade of goods would be difficult.

I think it would be impossible because if people didn't get any money for working they wouldn't work anymore so there would be no buildings, food, banks, police, and no children would get educated so the world wouldn't work anymore.

I think money would be needed but general supplies could be free in the future and for those you could use coupons like rationing coupons but unrationed

Hi there my name is decisive_redcurrant. You did a very good job on your post well done. You added a lot of detail and
her are my opinions to :))

First of all, we would experience a lot of things that are horrible even to think of, especially in food, clothes, or shelter. Money is a kind of standard that people make for a better life, so if it were not for money, people would lose the standard and feel confused.
