Future schools?

after last weeks challenge about the future of work I started to wonder more about the future of other things and one thing that really took my interest is what the future of schools would be like the more I thought about it the more I started to have more questions.
so I decided to share my thoughts and hear what other peoples opinions and thoughts were to.
I honestly believe that everything will be automated there won't be any books or textbooks but rather tablets to work on for all subjuects during the day.You would still learn how to write in proper handwriting in primary but most of it is automated by the time your in high school.
In addition to this I believe the lunch cafeteria won't need lunch ladies but rather you would be served by a robot or it would be a vending machine situation were you order it and it comes out.Or this may stop altogether and we will just have home learning and just be able to stay home and do work.
thank you for reading and please make sure you add anything you believe would be fitting in the "future of schools". Open to constructive criticis.

I think not much would actually change as similar things have happened before ,such as when the television was new, everybody belived that the future of education would change because you would learn by watching recordings yet that has not happened.
Yes it has do you not have a computer or board in your classroom? All around my school there is a lot of technology I can’t say the same for the feast of the school in uk but I don’t think those things were even being made a couple decades ago.

I think it would cost a lot of money for tablets for all the children in school, this would be to much for the school to buy and buying robots would cost to much as well. Maybe it could cost £100000 and who would have that much money?
Also if children communicate to each other in lessons they learn to speak nicely to each other but if they just use computers or tablets they won't get lots of time communicating to each other and won't learn how to behave and could lose words and meanings.
Oh I guess so 😅. I guess I dreamed to big but hey there’s still some hope?

Personally, I think that if we are going to future schools first off we should try and make them the best it can possibly be, now in some schools because of the virus has been harder for children to go and play with other kids they like because they have to stay in a bubble. My sister thought that we should have robots as teachers but then I thought about that and I told myself that can’t be right “why?” Well here are my opinions
1.They might not be programmed to do the things that real human teachers would be able to do for example if there was a very intelligent student that was in a class and he wanted to say a method that you had to do with the robot was a program to listen or to understand such a method the robot be really confused and might say different things to the students
2. As I said before the robots could say the wrong things to students for example imagine if there was going to be a class party and the robot said it was on the 2nd of December but it was actually on the 10th of December the kids would really be confused and would end up getting ready for the class party on the 2nd of December when it’s on the 10th of December.
3. Robot in my opinion could also distracted students as to its program self and the way you looks like, students could be taken away from their work and could be distracted by how the robot looks and how it talks and if they might even want to play with the robots.
Personally, to conclude what I’ve said I think that if we have future schools we should try and think of the benefits that it will need. Maybe we could use some automation inside the future school or maybe we could not??? I hope you agree with me really good post keep up the good work good job :-)
Interesting ideas! Do you think human teachers could have these problems too?
I dont thinbk so beacause human teachers have robably been to allk the stages of school and robots haven't

I think that some aspects of school will change, and some will not. For example, teachers will, perhaps, set homework on an online platform, rather that on paper, as it is far more convenient. On the other hand, I think that students will still have to write, rather than type everything as it is still a prominent life skill to have, although I feel that some parts of school, you may use an electronic device for.
Do you think writing by hand will always be an important life skill, or might this change too? How has the way people write things down changed over the years already? Do you think those people ever thought it would change?

This is very straightforward and short and I like that, though Im pretty sure that we won't have lunch served by robots any time soon
Some restaurants are already doing this, unconventional_journalist! Would you like to be served by a robot?
I certainly wouldn't! It just wouldn't feel natural, and you can't even speak to them. They would literally come to you, give you your meal, then wonder off! Even if they talked, I personally would prefer to not talk to a robot than talking to a robot. It won't even have its own opinions. Also, if it got your meal wrong (which it may do as it probably isn't even able of knowing which plate has which meal on) you couldn't just tell it that it got it wrong. It would just become a pain as you cant even ask for ketchup!!! The only benefit I can think of regarding robots serving meals is that they would be able to serve a lot more meals at once as they can carry more as they would be especially designed to do so but this wouldn't give any benefit if there was only a couple of you at the restaurant. Literally all waiters can carry at least 2 meals.
So in my opinion, it may be nice to have an automated process, but if you think about it, it is too unnatural to be served by something that isn't even human and they would make too many mistakes to do this job. It is a lovely idea, but I just don't like it.
Thanks,

I personally don't want to be served with robots. If these robots become lazy, we might have nuts and bolts for lunch. Humans might be better because robots have to be constantly programmed while humans can just go fo it
