Our NHS experts are ready for your questions!
It's a new Issue, so we have new experts, ready to take your new questions!
Even if you've had just one session of the BNC, get thinking of what you'd like to ask and post your questions below.
So far, we have:
Dame Donna Kinnair, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Nursing. In the past, Dame Donna has been "Head of Nursing" and has described her current role on the leadership team as "quite simply the best job in nursing". What questions do you have for her about nursing and the NHS?
Caroline Dove, Chief Executive of NHS Elect. Caroline has spent her entire career working in the NHS. She has a passion for making big changes in the NHS to improve the service - and set up NHS Elect in 2003 to provide high quality support, training and resources to health care organisations across the country. You might want to ask Caroline questions about how making big changes which affect the whole NHS.
Nutritionist Hala El-Shafie. You might have seen Hala on television - she gives advice on eating well on BBC's Live Well for Less, and How to Lose Weight Well on Channel 4. Hala is very keen to help people eat well and look after themselves, so you might want to ask her questions about this area of our NHS Issue.
Dr Ali Hasan, Clinical Affairs Director at Vitality. Dr. Hasan has a lot of experience working in private health care - which is where people pay for their treatment and do not use the NHS. You might want to ask Dr. Hasan about the role private companies could play in the future of health care.

I would like to be informed of the difference of salary between your current position in comparison to that of the of beginners? Also how long did it take you to reach your position.
24 Feb 2020
What are your thoughts on the future of NHS health care? It must be partly saddening that what you have known as home (your job) is changing so easily.
24 Feb 2020
Do you think that the NHS is a thing that you should devote your life to with passion and love like you have done? But despite all of the good things that it gives the British society are we taking it all for granted and if we are should it become privatised?
24 Feb 2020
I would like nutritionist Hala El-Shafie to answer this question.
Is this your dream job and if so why?Have you always been interested in looking at the fats and other things in food?

"Since there are many foods high in sugar salt and fat -which could lead to diabetes, obesity and even cancer!- would it be more or less beneficial for the NHS if the went vegetarian and why?"
I would like Caroline Dove, Chief Executive of NHS Elect to answer this question, please.
Actaully, since this is more part of nutrition, I would like to ask Hala El-shafie this question, please.
24 Feb 2020
My question is for Hala El-Shafie. As a person who knows a lot about eating healthily, do you think that it is okay to sometimes eat unhealthy foods, as long as it isn't all the time and in big quantities? Or would you suggest eating healthily all the time?

Caroline Dove: The NHS is facing a lot of criticism over waiting times
and new-born babies dying from disease, what would you say to those hear-broken mum or those patients who have had to wait for hours to get seen by a doctor? Also, how would you defend the NHS on these critical complaints? I would like to hear your answers because it makes it clearer to understand this Burnet News Club issue and it lets me see things from a different prospective- something you don't always get to hear from. I would appreciate if you answered my questions because it will also benefit other people's knowledge of the NHS to hear your reply, as well as mine.

My question is for Dame Donna Kinnair: if you could deliver one message to every nurse in the country what would you say and why?
24 Feb 2020
Can this be for Caroline Dove? How does this issue have a impact on your every day life? I think it might have a impact on some doctor's life .I think this because 10000 doctor places have not been filled and 40000 nurse places have not been filled. This could cause a crisis or thousands of people could start dying every month due to no treatment or because of having to wait 4 or more hours. This shows that people are leaving their job because of stress or because of their salary going down.
24 Feb 2020
Do you think the NHS might be shut down? What ways do you think will help the NHS?

26 Feb 2020

When you joined at the NHS, you knew that you would be helping people sick or hurt for a while, and now that the coronavirus is spreading across the UK, it is becoming more harder to tackle all the affected people. So my question is: are you planning to make an antidote, and if you are, how are you
03 Mar 2020
i would like to ask what skills do you need to be a doctor? I'm asking this because i want to be a doctor when i grow up.

04 Mar 2020
How hard is it to become a nurse
04 Mar 2020
Do you like everyone around you?
05 Mar 2020
Aimed at Dr Ali Hassan:
I feel as if in the future, if the NHS goes down hill or may not have had much income support with the government, Private's Health Care should get their most reliable and experienced people to work for the NHS and give people more experience. On top of that, I think some equipment should be shared as it is unfair if the people who can afford, get a luxury and people who earn less than people get a treatment that is no precise and can't help treat people properly. I think it will some how turn into the olden times- poor get some things and no treatment and rich get everything and get cured - if know now takes action now. If Private Care start to combine leadership everyone will get the same treatment. Dr Ali Hassan I want to ask you if you agree with me and if you think this is good logic for the future.
06 Mar 2020

06 Mar 2020

06 Mar 2020

Dear NHS
I serious_signature have two important question. My first question is when the press or social media criticise you as the NHS how do you cope with the hate and if you can't what do you do?My second important question is why a lot of people's tax money are going to you as the NHS and not to help the homeless or for other more important needs for the people? THE END

What is your opinion on the NHS becoming a private healthcare?
15 Mar 2020
Are you scared of what you are facing everyday like if you get a patient that is really sick and you have never covered it before what would you do and why? Im asking this because when you just get a random person come to the doctors or hospital and you dont know what you need to ho would they treat them if they didn't know what medication to give them because you cant give them medicine that yu think is right for them because if you dont know if there allergic to it or can get really poorly if they have it.
