Is the corona virus helping the NHS?

NHS Health care Featured Image 7

The corona virus is spreading fast and more and more patients are getting it. Meaning that more people are going into quaranty and being treated by the NHS. I would say this helps them in no way because they don't get paid anything more for a much dangerous job. A risk of getting it themselves. A risk of maybe even dying.

The NHS has rolled out a special service to help people stay clean and to avoid getting the corona virus. The service allows NHS staff to help people be tested without them having to go to those people's house. Or for those people to come into the hospital.

Doctors have stated that they will be willing to help others but there risk can not develop any further.

They have also provided us with steps and advice to stay well. They told us to wash our hands and faces firmly. So that we are fresh and clean. So no germs can get into our bodies and so that we don't get ill.

The corona virus is a much worse case of the flu but can do more harm and can pressure the NHS more to make you better faster because you are at a risk of dying.

What you said was all true because if more people get it the more people go to the NHS and the NHS is already under so much pressure. In my opinion, I think the government should help a lot in this because they run the country and they need to help the NHS. If we don't find a cure to this quickly we might be in danger.

Thanks for your ideas @determined_orange. You say that if we don't find a cure for the virus quickly, we might be in danger. What do you mean by that?

What I mean is that because the UK is under so much pressure because of the coronavirus and the NHS needs more staff. If we don’t find a cure many people will die. Because Of the news I know that the government Is sending people to check if anyone has the coronavirus. Also the moderators of BNC I Have used storytelling and reasoning because I have reasoned my point of view story telled about what I have heard if the news

I like how you have described on how the corona virus is spreading fast and it was a great post.I think that the NHS is hiding their emotions like stress of pressure.I think that the corona virus is making life as the NHS more difficult because it is a problem that is spreading fast. The NHS are seeing people every day who are sick or injured and with the corona virus spreading that is not helping.

this is highly true but under 20s apart from 1 to 4 year olds have 0.2 % chance that they will get it an if they do they will survive unless they have some sort of serious disease :):)

On the one hand, some people think that the coronavirus is helping the NHS. This is because they are getting so many more patients, people are realising how important the NHS is and is giving them donations towards the health service. This will make their wages bigger and they can also spend that money on new, more expensive medicines that can treat different illnesses better than they are now. It would be good if all the staff of the NHS's pay got bigger because it means they might be more motivated to do their job.
However, on the other hand, other people think that the coronavirus is not helping the NHS. This is because they are having so many patients in the wards because of it, that they don't have enough beds for people with different illnesses that need them too. This also means that they have a quite high risk of getting the virus too because of how close they are having to get to the people with it. This is a worry because it means that the percentage of people in the UK who have it is going up which means we are at more of a risk of getting it too!!
To conclude, I believe that it is not helping the NHS because of the reasons that I stated above,
    That's all from me,
    Thanks for reading my comment,

It's important to remember that people do not donate money to the NHS like a charity, but pay through their taxes, and coronavirus will not be helping wages to increase. It may lead to the government giving the NHS more money to tackle it, though.

I don’t agree with the post you posted. I think this because many more people are getting the coronavirus. So the NHS has to work together and come up with plans to help control the virus and that also means that the NHS have to work together as a team and if they work together the work will become easier.
We also need to work together with other countries so we can come up with a bigger and better plan so we can control the virus. We would do this by getting people from every country to come and meet at the world health organization place to discuss the issues.

A sensible suggestion at the end there, artistic_imagination. Has this happened yet?

I think the countries are starting to do this as they have just confirmed the coronavirus / covid-19 as a pandemic which means that the world health organization has come together to decide that and hopefully whilst they were there they decide what they were going to do to stop it spreading.

I also agree with what artistic_imagination is saying because day in day out the population at which people are getting infected by the disease and the NHS will have to give their best in helping them recover soon to prevent them from dieing.
