Is it too late?

Our NHS doctors work very hard on helping us stay healthy, but the question is: is it too late? Because when these doctors work every day, even Christmas, you think, do I live a healthy lifestyle or should I start eating healthily?
Especially while the virus is on the loose, they must work even harder to keep patients alive.
Even though I have no relatives working for the NHS, I can not imagine how it would feel to never see your nan or grandad on Christmas day if they are in hospital, either as a patient or staff. Also, I am feeling horrified by the people who say healthcare should be privatiesed, as some people can't afford to pay for their health, imagine how that would be?!

Thanks for sharing hopeful_city! Looking at the other side of the argument, why do you think some people would argue that the NHS should be privatized?
Maybe because they are wealthy and think they should be the only ones to get good healthcare so they say they don't want the less wealthy people as they think that they are above the other people.

I think it is not too late because if people really understand what is happening and what the NHS is going through, then they may think through more thoroughly. This way people may help the NHS more than they used too and maybe if they work the best they can, they may succeed because people always say you should never give up on your dreams
Thanks, witty_banana, I agree, they should try and succeed and achieve their dreams!

No i do not think it is too late because we still need to find something to cure corona virus/Covid-19 and we just can not give up on the NHS.Plus what if other people have corona virus/Covid 19 and the nobody will be able to help them.
You are so right! We should not give up, that would be like being given a maths question and thinking, "too hard" and saying to your teacher "It's way too hard", without even trying.
