What measures must be taken to combat climate change?
According to the statistics of 2015, the volume of carbon dioxide emissions resulting from human activities was estimated at about 35 to 37 billion tons annually.
As for the statistics of 2018, it is estimated that the volume of carbon dioxide production resulting from human activities is 185 times higher than volcanic emissions. They are really surprising statistics and show the role the sane person plays in his climate change activities.
Therefore, he must take measures to reduce climate change and pollution, among which are:
1- Reducing carbon emissions.
2- Using modern engines for transportation that do not cause gases, such as electric cars and mass transportation.
3- Encouraging the trend towards renewable energies such as sun and wind energy in transportation and energy production.
4- Increasing vegetation because plants consume carbon and increase oxygen in the atmosphere.
5- Converting carbon dioxide into rocks.
6- Educating citizens about the dangers of climate change and integrating them in the plans devoted to combating climate change.
7 - Filtering factory chimneys, such as passing factory smoke on pools of water with algae that use carbon and produce electricity, thus reducing the temperature increase in the atmosphere by half and preventing air pollution and emissions of harmful gases that increase climate change.
8- Increasing the populated area and redistributing the population equally to reduce the population density through the creation of new cities enjoying an infrastructure and renewable energy.
9- Recycling the waste properly and transferring it to the beneficial products.
10- Carbon pricing (carbon price setting) for companies to pay for the carbon they release to the air.
11- Ending fossil fuel subsidies with the low price of oil due to the Corona virus crisis, as this is a good opportunity to phase out fossil fuels.
12- Reducing the consumption of animal products and consuming greater quantities of plant products due to the large emissions produced by the animal sector, especially cows. As for the vegetable sector, it supports increased vegetation to reduce carbon to increase oxygen in the atmosphere.
Paris Agreement:
In 2015, the Paris Climate Agreement was signed that aims to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that allows the ecosystem to adapt naturally to climate change and also aims to contain global warming in less than two degrees.
And it seeks to reduce it at 1.5 degrees.

Well every little thing counts , and while all those things as said can make a huge difference, if every body pitched in and recycled or picked up litter or something even smaller such as ate less meat or turned of the lights when they're not needed, that could bring us one step closer to our goal. Though it isn't going to completely tackle climate change it will at least make some what of a difference.
You are right that these measures do not fully address climate change, but they make a slight difference, and I mentioned these measures for everyone to take.
Residents can take some of these measures, such as reducing consumption of animal products and going to plant products.
The state can take other measures that the population cannot take, such as setting a carbon price.
These procedures are varied to suit everyone.

WHAT MEASURE MUST BE TAKEN TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE
The word climate change is the change in the weather pattern as a result of too much increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by the use of fossil fuel.
There are many measures that could be use to combat climate change these are;
1. Retrofitting buildings to make them less energy consuming.
2. Adopting renewable energy sources like; solar, wind mill, hydro power plant.
3. Use of less fossil fuels.
4. Growing of more trees (reforestation and afforestation).
5. Sustainable transportation system such as electric vehicles and train.
6. The use of clean energy (Bio-fuels).
