Lightning
I'm outstanding_turkey and lightning JUST hit my street it scared me so much it was a bang my dog ran upstairs it was litterally outside my window where I am writing this it was neon blue and as soon as it hit everyone went outside because the internet switched off. All my neighbours just went outside and we are scared, everyone was saying there TVs weren't working and later we have to do our clap for the NHS. My mum screamed when it happened. I know this should not be a post but I wanted to share my experience. Honestly it just hit a couple minutes ago at 16:25 UK time my heart is still pounding in my chest I hope you all stay safe!

The same happen to me my dog 🐕 had very sharp ears so he start to bark so in rushed up stairs and look out of my window I was all so very scared but like you I will all so have to clap for the NHS but look on the bright side there is sun ☀️ now it should of go now but let’s hope it is mor sunny tomorrow my was also pounding extremely fast so I went and had some chocolate 🍫 to clam me down.
Yes! :D Chocolate always calms people down but after it happened even though it was gone my dog was shivering and didn't want to come downstairs!

I'm so sorry for that😞😞. I hope you're family was not injured. Lightning is very dangerous. Sometimes lightning comes with rain and sometimes it does not. I have ever experienced a thunder. It was really bad. Don't worry, the lightning will not stay there for a long time. God knows
Thank you delightful_snow luckily we were all safe and my street still did the clap for the NHS and everyone had a chat (of course we had to be 2 meters apart) but it was quite nice. Sadly, my next door neighbours TV broke so she has to order another one!

If lightening happened more frequently, do you think it would seem as scary?
No it wont
Yes and no because if you had it regularly you would get used to it and you might now what things it will destroy and yes because if it happened more regularly for an example if you went for your expertise and it struck it would be scary and there would be nowhere to hide if you went for a walk.

I want to ask a question : If you were me and had all your pets and family worried what would you do?
I would quickly get out of were you are!!!!!!!!
I also have a question if you left you keys 🔑 some were are you are lock in how would you get out?

*When there is lightning it is scary outside.
*If the lightning happens regularly some people would get used to it.

For your safety, keep calm and with time, you will get used to it. Lightning arrestor should be in good place in your area.
