What part of Lena's job usually involves 'a lot of running around outside'?

The part where she writes about South Korea, North Korea, Politics, Business, Society and what people are up to and how they get along with each other. She says that this involves a lot of running around at 0:26 - 0:28.

How is Lena adapting to the new situation?

Lena is adapting to the new situation by doing her work online to avoid large gatherings such as conferences, to work from home is possible. Lena finds it easier than others to work at home, as she doesn't have any distraction such as pets or children.

What does Lena advise you do when you hear about a news story?

She advises us through her own experience is that we should check a well-used and trusted channel or site such as BBC. She also tells you that whenever you find something that claims to be true about Coronavirus, which you haven't heard before and which you may be a bit suspicious about, we should go check in a place that is very trusted, and to look at the websites of trustworthy news organisations and to listen to the radio or look at another newspaper as well.

    Thank you for reading.

    Answers for Dominic's video:
    1. Dominic values his notes and notebook. This is because it contains information about all the different people he has spoken to and all his reports. This way he can carry on working without the need to leave. He also seems to have a connection with the Banyan tree as he mentions it in the beginning. It is also the name of his weakly column.
    2. The secret that he has informed us about is that he hasn't opened the television for 6 weeks. He does this as he thinks that only the loudest voice is heard on TV. I agree with him as normally journalists and people would care more about politicians and celebrities than other ordinary or poor people.
    3. Dominic panic bought a pile of books. But these aren't leisure books. Theyvare books he has bought to understand how people in the past have dealt with disease, crisis and pandemics.
    4. Dominic has suggested that we always take notes of things that our friends tell us or we do and feel, then make a story out of it. I understand how helpful notes can be as I for example take notes in class to study for my exams. But I think we should take notes also outside of class, just like Dominic said "There is a story in every house".
    Answers to Lena's video:
    1. The part of Lena's job that takes a lot of running around is understanding how life works in North and South Korea. This is because she needs to be close to a variety of people, the rich and poor, and a part of the life in that region.
    2. Lena is adapting to the situation by talking to people on the phone and working at home, she also spends a lot of time setting up her desk. It is also easier for her as she lives alone with nobody to take care of except herself.
    3. Lena advises us to check our sources and see if they are trust worthy she we see a story. I agrre with Lena as this is particularly important as rumours can cause panics and disorder. It also makes people feel as if they can't trust their governments and have a feeling that their governments are hiding something, which might not be the case. I would suggest people to people living in the UK to take news about COVID19 from the Burnnet's News Club post about COVID19.

The valuable object for Domnic is 'Bayan' this is a type of tree related to the fig tree. To him the tree is significant and valuable. It is valuable because, for example, in South Eastern Asia like in Indonesia and Malaysia village and family disputes were resolved under the tree and that was where Buddha also found enlightenment.
The secret he wants is to keep is that we must always be on our books and place high values on them and pay less attention to television. He says this with the reason that, there is a lot of drama, dazzle on the surface, controversies on the television and most importantly that those with loudest voices are only heard neglecting those with genuine cry.
He bought a pile of books when he was put under lockdown. He did this because he was worried of getting enough books to buy and not also being able to go outside to get books to buy.
He recommends we keep note and take head of what people say and do, the funny and uncomfortable sides, with all this we should write our own stories. Again he recommended The Great Leveler that speaks of famine and inequality, Upheaval and The Boundless Sea that talks of nations under crisis like how we have crisis as well as how they moved on from the crisis, The Narrow Corridor a story about what keeps liberal under strain and The Broken Sky also a story about and orphan trying to find their way home after the World War from China to Japan.

    2. The secret that Dominic wants to keep is to give the books high value while minimizing watching television, because he thinks the loudest voice is heard from the TV. I agree with him because he usually tells stories and words of people about politicians and celebrities while ignoring the ordinary people and the poor who are honest.
3.Once closed, Dominic bought a pile of books useful to find out the ways ancient peoples and civilizations used to repel epidemics and diseases.
Dominic recommends reading a number of books during residency, for example: the small one can make a difference and who talks about high temperatures leading to annihilation and the land is not habitable addresses conflicts and wars because of the high temperatures and snow forests the impact of climate change on the Amazon jungle and it is also suggested that we write down all the observations that tell us Anyone in it or talked with us to be a story, I do not understand how it is useful. For example, when we want to search on a topic, we take down all notes about it, whatever it is that I think that notes should be taken everywhere just as Dominic said there is a story in every home.

    * Dominic panic-bought a lot of books and a pile of them as soon as he was put under lockdown. These books relate to how people has dealt with diseases. Some are about the seas(the boundless seas), while some are about young people (under the broken sky). One thing it has taught him is that we stay with our friends and families and these stories he writes start with them.
    * Dominic recommends us, while we are at home to take note, take heed of what people are doing and write it down. He said that there are uncomfortable things, hundreds of stories which we can make a story from them. Lastly, every new story start from our own home.

    * well, she's still allowed to go outside or leave the house. She also works for the government and she now talk to people on the phone rather than meet in large groups like conferences etc for discussions.
