Why might have covid-19 have had a great impact on climate change?

You might be asking well "how did it have a great impact and why did it have a great impact" well today I will try my best to answer those question if you have any question or a disagreement feel free to comment on this post without wasting your time lets go into the questions.

What is Climate change?

Climate change is a problem that has been coming on and off(sometimes it was at its worst or it's at its least dangerous level)it has done many problems but who caused it? well, that is a very good question WE humans have caused that's because not only we have been throwing plastic bags in the oceans, deforestation, ice caps are melting, sea level is rising there are lots of problems

Lockdown 2020

We know that 2020 was one of the most hectic years that we have ever faced in human history but remember how barely anyone went outside all because of the virus and during that time it was very deadly that there were billions upon billions of cases of this virus lets get back to on how I said barely anyone went home fewer cases of climate change were present in 2020 but something was present which was face masks and gloves while people were outside(During when lockdown started to ease a bit more) some people have been throwing their face masks on the floors.

What happened to Australia during 2020?

Australia's deadly bushfires sparked in September 2019 and have been one of the scariest moments for people who live in Australia that's because the drought that began in 2017 made this year's bushfire season more dangerous than ever. The fires created unprecedented damage, destroying more than 14 million acres of land and killing more than 20 people and an estimated 1 billion animals.

But then slowly its bushfires rate increased as fires started to spread even more across the lands where was it most affected well from my research it was been said that Eastern Australia was one of the most affected places that bushfires have affected.

Ice caps are melting

Why was I talking a lot about ice caps are melting that's because the ice caps in Antarctica is the polar bears home which were they live that due to that our world is getting hotter and hotter there might be another reason that is that sea levels are rising.

Thank you @shining_journalist for your article. You have providing some interesting examples of climate change issues. You say that humans have caused climate change. Could you explain how human behaviour has caused the Australian bushfires and melting of the ice caps?
