I don't think they have equal responsibilities because there are many minority countries struggling to tackle climate change. For the wealthier countries, it is obvious that they need to do as much as possible to tackle climate change as soon as possible. This same message goes to the more minority countries. They must do as much as possible to attack global warming. Unfortunately, coronavirus has struck which is making citizens around the world feel idle which is delaying the government and our moves in saving the environment. Some are protesting for Lockdown to be released as the people have suffered for a whole year however nobody has thought how many years the environment has been struggling. For more than decades, this natural society has been turned to the barren wasteland with silent screams as it dies desperate for help. something must happen now and that starts with YOU.

I think that countries do not have equal responsibilities to build back greener. Why because certain countries' economies are stronger than others. Countries like China, the USA, Japan, Germany, and India have more resources than others. The countries that burn fossil fuels like Brunei, Qatar, Algeria, and Oman have more responsibilities than other countries.
The countries with small economies like Mozambique, Chad, South Sudan, Jamaica, and Yemen don't have that to contribute to building back greener. I think the countries that contribute the most to climate change have the most responsibilities because of their economic stability. The covid 19 vaccines the nations like India, The USA, China, and England get the vaccines first and distribute them to countries like Cuba, Martinique, Haiti, and Jamaica. Jamaica has the vaccine because of its close ties with India. In conclusion, Countries do not have equal responsibilities for building back greener.

I think countries do have equal responsibility to 'build back greener' because all countries are mainly the same. All countries have the same qualities, some are poor and some are rich. It doesn't matter as we can all work together to make the world greener! We as a world can make this world better to live in. This world can be better in a few years as we will work together as a world.

Yes, I think that all countries have the same responsibility to 'build back greener' because we are all in this together. However, not every country is to blame as some countries do more to help out the environment anyway. Some countries have a better economy and the for have the responsibility as the are able to help out. The earth has done so much for us and is our planet, we need to take care of it.

I agree that we are all in this together but don't you think that some countries have a bigger part to play?

    Hello I am from England,
The reason I think we should build back green is because the earth is in pain and if we leave till it is too late then we will be in pain and then we can not return. We are all in this together rich, poor, little or small if you pick up one plastic to 1000 it will still make a difference.

I think that countries do not have equal responsibilities because some have the resources to save the earth whereas others don't. Some of the countries that do not have the money don't even produce most of the emissions and pollution. Most of the countries that produce the most pollution have the resources to help save the earth. They can also help but most of the funding will probably come from some of the richer countries.

We need to build back greener because the earth is suffering and at the tipping point of no return. The quicker we react to the problem the more reversible it will become. We need to act now before its to late. Therefore we may not have equal responsibilities but we all have to work together to overcome this problem.

I think all countries have the same responsibility to build back greener because no matter what size your country is, you are still making an impact on the world being green and you will always be making some sort of pollution to the planet.

I think that countries have a responsibility to 'Build back greener' because they are responsible for the litter and pollution taking up their part of the world. As a collective world we have created a large mass of destruction amongst the region we own and the places around it and we have a collective responsibly to do so.

I think that countries do have equal responsibilities to help the environment because climate change for example can not really be stopped in one place as some other places can not afford scientists that have things to find out more about climate change. Countries also have to build back greener, equally, because it won’t be the future for their children that they are ruining but also our home, the world.
-I look forward to the next discussion and replying to other people’s comments, please comment and share your opinions.

Hello, I would like to change my opinion from the last comment.
I don’t think that all places have the same job to bring back greener because other big places like the United Kingdom have worse climate change because there are more factories but areas with lots of farms have lots of pollution because farmers are the main cause of pollution since the gasses they use to look after the animals have a big impact too.
-Again, please share your opinion on this.

Hello buzzing_grapefruit. I totally agree with you but what I would add is that some countries don't actually have enough money to make big changes to help their country let alone, help stop climate change.

I think that countries do not have equal responsibilities as some countries do not have enough money to help their people, let alone help stop climate change so I think that the richer countries should share some of their money to more of the poorer countries and that in different places, their are different types of climate change and in some places it is worse like, icecaps melting, warm winters, pollution and forest fires so everyone should help each other. That is the only way we can get through this.
