Its Time for Change!

As you know there have been many forest fires have become more frequent in the last year. In 2020 alone 10.1 million acres were burnt rather than in 2019 there were only 4.7 million. My picture shows the unfortunate truth of many trees and nature that burnt in 2020. I used coloring pencils to give it sort of a simple look but with a deep meaning behind it. I didn't add any natural things because I want to show how humans are the reason why there are so many wildfires. This may sound very tragic but there is a way for us to save the planet. We need to stop burning as much fossil fuel because if we don't the carbon dioxide goes into the air and warms up the planet. More than 1,000,000 species have been threatned with extinction by climate change too. But there are ways to stop it. Reeduce, reuse and recycle. Cut down on what you throw away. Conserve the water that you use. Only buy what you'll use. Try and plant a tree and use long lasting light bulbs.
