Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are called pollutants. Pollutants can be natural, such as volcanic ash. They can also be created by human activity, such as trash or runoff produced by factories. Pollutants damage the quality of air, water, and land.pollution effects are defined as “direct and/or indirect adverse impacts of contaminants on the marine environment, such as harm to living resources and marine ecosystems, including loss of biodiversity, hazards to human health, the hindering of marine activities, including fishing, tourism and recreation and other . That's why we as humans shouldn't know how badly pollution can effect us and effect our life so we should do some steps in order to save our mother land such as :
Reduce the number of trips you take in your car.
Reduce or eliminate fireplace and wood stove use.
Avoid burning leaves, trash, and other materials.
Avoid using gas-powered lawn and garden equipment.

If you are quoting another website or source of information, you need to put the quote in quotation marks and let everyone know where the information is from. It's much better to give us your own opinion about something you have read!

I think we can protect the earth by planting more trees and put a stop to air pollution

When our globe is seen from the space it is seen as a beautiful blue and white ball however this nice planet is seriously in danger it suffers from a dangerous phenomenon that is called pollution Our Mother earth is crying 😢🌎Our planet is poisonned In fact people are responsible for all these problems So they have to cooperate in order to solve them before it becomes too late We must make our world a happier healthier place to live We should plant trees use solar energy more because It's clean and harmless we must use environment friendly detergents use electric cars, turn off the lights when we don't need we should turn off the tap when we don't use it we should waste paper to save our trees and recycle them Governments should take the right measures on the spot before it is too late when it becomes useless to cry "over spilled milk"

Nigerians see pollution as a casual thing and they have learnt to live with it forgetting that it can have harmful consequences. Pollution in Nigeria is very rampant, all measures used in order to reduce the rate of pollution ends up being futile. Pollution cannot totally be eradicated but it can be reduced. Residents that are close to refuse always suffer from bio gas. For example, Bayelsa State in Nigeria is a riverine community and most people live in bamboo houses in order to avoid flood entering their houses. These people throw wasteful product in water and still drink it. Individuals in this type of community die from typhoid and yet still see no reason to reduce pollution. Pollution is slowly eating up my country and people are still not caring.
I feel that the record of people who have died as a result of pollution is not taken serious in my country and I think that if the death of people due to pollution is recorded and published, Nigerians will take this as a serious matter.
