1) In 2017, the UK imported £341 billion worth of goods and exported £274 billion worth of goods. We imported more than we exported and this is a loss of £67 billion. This means that the EU has reduced buying goods from the UK and the EU is selling more goods to the UK than before.
2) In addition, in 2017, the UK imported 53% of goods from the EU and 47% of goods from the rest of the world however, previously in 2011; the UK imported 51% goods from the EU and 49% from the rest of the world. Therefore, the UK are gradually increasing the imports from EU.
3) At the same time, in 2017, the UK exported 44% goods from EU and in 2006; exports 55%, which is gradually decrease exports (the EU might be buying the same goods outside the UK cheaper) which is bad for the UK.
