I disagree with the statement all decisions that effect society by direct democracy. Direct democacy is were all decisions are made by the public, when they vote on something an example of this is when we voted to leave or remain in the eu.
Direct democracy first came into pratice in Greece and many people liked the idea of this way of making decsions.
Also its the mp's job, and they have the qualifications to make these decisions for our country and they normally know more about the subject and the long term effects of making the decision. Also parliement have votes to make decisions for our country everyday and i dont think that it would be very convenient to have votes everyday. Also i believe the public would get a bit fed up of all the hours wasted voting that they could of been using for other important things.
