Joe Biden is leading Donald Trump in the national polls for the presidential election.
But that doesn't guarantee a victory for the Democratic candidate. Hillary Clinton also had a clear lead over Trump in the polls for almost the entire 2016 campaign. She ended up losing in the electoral college.
Currently, in Florida 46% are voting Trump and 49.3% are voting Joe Biden.
In Ohio and Iowa Trump is in the lead.
In 2004, Iowa voted Trump and they switched to Joe Biden in 2008. They continued to support Joe Biden in 2012 but went back to Trump in 2016.
Now, it's 2020 and Trump is leading in Iowa.
The rural state of Iowa has become increasingly Republican in recent elections, buoyed by the support of working-class white voters. Trump managed to claim the state with a swing of 15 points in 2016.
What do you think?
Will Joe Biden keep the lead; or will Donald Trump climb up to the top?
