My final piece -Interview with an America citizen
Q Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
A Hello, I'm Bobby and I'm 19 and I'm a student at university.
Q How do you feel about tomorrow's election?
A I feel nervous because I'm hoping that Joe Biden gets it but also a little angry because I feel like although I have said that I am going to vote for Joe Biden, I don't think it was a very good choise of people.
Q Why should people vote tomorrow?
A I think people should vote tomorrow because, whoever people vote for , they shouldn't waste their vote because some people in different countries and stuff can't vote so you shouldn't waste yours.
Q How powerful do you think your vote is?
A I think my vote is quite powerful because my state is worth 15 electoral votes and it is a swing state so that meanes that it doesn't always vote for the same team or person, they sometimes choose other people.
Q Can you explain why some people might not vote?
ASome people might not vote because they might have a criminal record , might not be old enough or, might just not want to.
Q What about the presidency. Would you ever run for president? Why?
A No, I wouldn't because I can't because I wasn't born in America- I was born in England and then I moved to America when I was three.
Q How do you feel about the voting system in America?
A I think that it is fair that each person has a vote and all the other things , but I don't think it is fair about the electoral votes , because I think that all the states should be worth the same amount.
Thank you.
