American Voter Interview: FINAL PIECE

Can you tell me a bit about yourself?

My name is Jannet Beck,I am a teacher at AFES (America Field Estate School) I am twenty- eight (28) and I am waiting for the big day !

How do you feel about tomorrow’s election?

I feel very nervous because a small vote can make a huge change for a lot of people, for example: my state is worth three (3) electoral votes and that makes a change because if one of those votes out of the three are one ahead of the other candidate's side that candidate wins the vote!

Why should people vote tomorrow?

People should vote tomorrow because they might have a few reasons to vote and you have to have a great reason not to vote unless you are obviously underage or in prison .

How powerful do you think your vote is?

As I said i think that my vote is 50/50 because that is the vote that you would need

Between winning and losing!

Can you explain why some people might not vote?

Some people may not vote because they may be either under age or in prison

What about the presidency? Would you ever run for president? Why?

I would probably try to run for president because I am able to run my classroom so if I can run about ninety (90) children it would be worth a shot!

How do you feel about the American voting system?

I feel ok about it because I feel like the general votes are just to bring peoples hopes up and the electoral votes are the real thing !
