American Voter Interview: FINAL PIECE

Hero US Election

Hello my name is Zelda Unaly. I am an illustrator and I am 33 years old. For me climate change and education are what matters the most in the upcoming election. I have lived in America for 29 years but I am originally from France. I love living in America but if the president makes bad decisions then it isn’t very pleasant.

How do you feel about tomorrow’s election?

I am worried, nervous and excited. I am worried that Donald Trump will win because even though he didn’t do a very good job during the pandemic a lot of people believe that his decisions have the best outcome for them. Although I believe that Joe Biden has strong words and that he will dominate.

Why should people vote tomorrow?

People should vote tomorrow because every vote counts and everyone should be part of the voting system because it is all of America’s president. The president stays the president for four years and I am not going to listen to any more Donald Trump!

How powerful do you think your vote is?

I think that my vote is very powerful, my state is worth 15 electoral votes and I think that is what is special about where I live. The reason I think this is because my state doesn’t have too many electoral votes or too little electoral votes.
