Can you tell me a bit about yourself?

My name is Luke Noble and I am 25 years old. I am a business owner and I own a company which sells cars. I have been in this line of work since 2000. I live in California which I love. In my opinion, the economy is the most important policy to me because I like to trade with other countries.

How do you feel about tomorrow’s election?

I feel excited but worried because I feel like what happened in the 2016 election will happen again. I also feel scared because if Trump gets elected for another 4 years he may ruin America.

Why should people vote tomorrow?

I think you should vote tomorrow because it is one in four years chance you could vote and it is your chance to see who you want in the White House for the next four years.

How powerful do you think your vote is?

Being a citizen of California I think my vote is not that powerful because of the electoral system even though my state is worth 55 points. Everyone may vote but one vote compared to many votes is nothing.

Can you explain why some people may not vote?

I think people may not vote because they may feel lazy and might not want to go to a polling station. My second reason is they may think their vote is less important if their state scores low on the electoral vote. They might not think their voices are heard.

What about the presidency, would you ever run for president? Why?

I won't run for president because I have not lived in America for 10 years and I do not reach the requirements of running for president.

How do you feel about the voting system in America?

I think it is unfair that the electoral votes are in place because people in smaller states think their vote is not worth that much.
