We were really happy to meet a great bunch of Burnet News Club teachers on Thursday September 13th.
We gathered at The Economist HQ to admire the amazing view of the Thames and unwind after the first few weeks of term. It was exciting to share ideas and offer support to teachers who are new to running the club, as well as hear from returning teachers about their successes and ambitions.
We were joined by Executive and Diplomatic Editor at The Economist, Daniel Franklin, who spoke about the history and values of The Economist and how they have shaped the Burnet News Club.
It was an excellent way to kick things off and we look forward to meeting more of our club leaders as term gets underway!
